I'd much rather go on TAR than Survivor and in terms of overall series interest, TAR is great, never a boring season (even including the Family season). The main problem seems to be really crappy winners. Was ANYBODY happy about TK/Rachel, Eric/Danielle, James/Tyler winning back to back to back? And this folks is why Survivor will always kill TAR in the ratings. Even boring winners like Danni, Yul, Earl are head and heals above the TAR teams I mentioned above.

Of course, Survivor has had the better moments. Skupin alone did more amusing shit than anybody on TAR, ever.

Oh, and, FOAD n00b for starting this thread. Figured I should toss that in here before people wonder what's wrong with me

From my personal point of view, Cook Islands and Fiji were about the most boring wretched reality TV seasons I've ever watched. I still blend contestants and events from each season into the other. I've watched every TAR cept season 2 and overall, I find it the more entertaining series simply because it's a race around the world and you get so many amazing locations while certain seasons of Survivor are a bunch of lame ass, boring, lazy fuckers sitting around the same spot with minimal misedits blended in to create drama. In Fiji, out of 14 hours of broadcast television the only good moments were the four horsemen blindside and Dreamz screwing Yau-man. That's it. Even shitty TAR Family had more than 2 good moments.

I loved China and Micronesia has started growing on me, but fuck it I <3 TAR.
