Overall a good night with a few blips. The judges were exceedingly nice.

Let's be honest, the best were the first 4 and the pecking order was pretty clear cut.

1. Carly: despite the fact that the judges said it wasn't great, it was. Perfect song, perfect performance-they are just expecting perfection from this girl. She's my pick to win, but then again so were Chris and Melinda.
2. Brooke-perfect song choice,great job, although I am very skeptical whether she can continue this due to constantly changing themes. She'll need to do Sheryl Crow if they ever do 90's. Overall, it was a great performance overall. Definitely final 12. Possible final 6.
3. Ramielle-excellent vocals but needed a little pep-definitely final 12, likely final 6
4. Syesha-not that great of a performance, but good enough for this position. Definite final 12, probable final 10. Just a slightly off week.

5. Kristy: not bad but I totally agreed with Simon-where does she fit? She may make the final 12 by default, but in competition with Amanda and Alaina for the final spot. If she makes it, it won't be very far into the final 12.
6. Alaina: She wasn't that good, but wasn't that horrible. Like Simon says, dark horse to final 12, but not much further. It depends on how she, Amanda, and Kristy do. The other is A'siah who will be #5.
7. Amanda: I didn't care for her performance or vocals, but it was okay. See #5 and #6 for her chances in the final 12.
8, 9, 10: Ties for bottom 3.
Alexandria: not good but better than the worst guys last night.
Kady: I thought there was something wrong with the sound because I could barely hear her. She looked like she was falling asleep again.
A'siah: wow-she looked like she chose this song for the big note. She never led up to it and never got it. She was out of tune. Bad week, but she'll barely make it through, be okay next week, and be in the final 12.

On a side note, ALL of these girls have class and a great spirit from what I see. None of them are snippy and defensive and try to dig themselves out like some of the guys did. They all took criticism extremely well and had a good attitude.

1st out: Kristy, Amanda, or Alaina-whichever slide in by default
2nd out: A'siah
3rd out: Syesha
4th out: Brooke
5th out: Ramielle
