Because the second season is the classic season, it has my favorite episode of all time with the four Devils hanging out in the donut shop talking about sin (Somehow, Satan Got Behind Me) . It also has Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense, A Room With No View (You are not special), and it had a great finale with Frank, his daughter and his wife in the Woods. My favorite X-files episode was Ice in Season 1 which was a take off of Thing it had a great cast of supporting characters. |

i missed a huge portion of the x files because i was away from the world for four years and was not in tune with what was going on. after those four years i
discovered many shows the x files being one of them. i never understood the hate for the show towards the end. :-( i will always love the x files.

Forgot about X-Cops <3
Millennium was the first show to break my heart by being canceled. Looking back I'm not surprised it was, it could never attain mainstream popularity. Just got back from picking up my complete series box set. It's pretty neat, and cheap ($160). If Millennium and Lone Gunmen were included, it would be even cooler. |

Millenium is on the Direct TV Chiller channel. Probably the only thing worth watching on that POS channel.

if you're going in expecting something similar to the first movie you're going to be surprised. read at your own risk.

Not reading that, and not seeing the movie until I finish rewatching the series. I've got five eps left in season four, so it might be a rental for me. I
was hoping that now I was older and a Lostie I'd understand the mythology more. But it's still just as confusing. At least I don't hate the comedy
episodes anymore.

i'm also going to watch the series because i moved back home after a four year absence of no t.v. etc. so i caught the end of the series and was
immediately captivated.
wish i could do it this weekend. |

If the end of the series kept you captivated, I can't imagine how ecstatic you would feel about the rest of it.

well it wasn't the end end it was the last few seasons. gosh. i'm not one of those overly picky people and i'm not saying i'm easily amused (ok
so you can challenge that) but i liked the series. and i always had a thing for scully. wowza!

The end of the series wasn't that bad, and I think they could have even done a season with only Doggett and Reyes.

apparently some of the reviews say this movie is blatantly offensive to the GLBT community. anyone know why?

It's taking a beating from the critics. Not promising. Still gonna see it, though.

I once said I'd pay $10 to watch the actors of Star Trek: TOS sit around a kitchen table and have breakfast.
I feel the same way about X-Files. I haven't paid to see a movie at a theatre in 2 years (The Constant Gardener being the most recent), but I'll be going to this one. This. Weekend. |

Even fan reviews are very negative. This could be the nail in the coffin.

Review from Rotten Tomatoes.
The film is a slow burn, but the fire never catches on. It's all talk, no action and is guaranteed to leave the audience with the worst case of blue balls they've had in years. |
