Rupert, Rich, Alicia and Kathy have been shown in 3 different Survivor seasons already. edited to remove Alicia. It was just her voice.

Up until Exile Island (I didn't see any Pearl Islands contestants exiled), every season featured a contestant whose first name began with a J. |

We can assume the 3-3-1 or 4-4-1 ties would have been resolved, but yes, 3-3-3 ties were possible in S13 and S14.

(This is stretching it): first time two returning players both bested their previous ranking by one position, and in adjacent spots (Cirie and Amanda). First time the 1-2-3 finishers were from one original tribe and 4-5-6 from another--though of course Borneo/Thailand had 1-2-3-4-5 / 6-7-8-9-10 and Africa had 1-2-3-4 / 5-6-7-8...(Exile Island had 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 ! ) |
