23. Penelope Widmore (portrayed by Sonya Wager)



Not bad Des. Not bad at all. Penelope "Penny" Widmore is the great love of Desmond, and his girlfriend before he was separated from her by her extremely wealthy and asshole father Charles. The relationship between Penny and Desmond is easily the best written and best acted of all the shows romances. It actually also quite touching unlike say, Kate and Jack/Sawyer (whoever she loves this week). Penny is also (unlike most of the shows women) rather independent. Shes been searching for Desmond for years (without her asshole dad knowing I assume). According to the writers, "Penny is an important character in the overarching mythology of the show". So look for more PenelopeOWNAGE soon (hopefully without his asshole dad appearing).

22. Boone Carlyle (portrayed by Ian Somerhalder)



Boone was a good kid. Except for the whole "fuck your stepsister"-thing". He was always nice to everyone. After the crash, he helped Jack in getting many of the passengers away from the exploding wreckage. He was later recruited to help Locke open the hatch.( a task which they failed miserably, but nice try). He then set on his last quest to the drug smugglers plain. Boone climbed to the plane because Lockes legs screwed him over. And then it happened. The plane then began to fall with Boone still inside of it, and he was crushed. Locke carried the badly injured Boone back to the caves but not even Jack the hero could save him. Boone was the first major character to die. According to Locke: "Boone was a sacrifise the Island demanded." The reason Boone isn't higher is because he worked as COO (Chief Operating Officer) in the wedding clothing subsidiary of his mother's company (WTF?!).

Oh right. The space-time continuum must be screwing with my head.
