Or something like it. I got laid off today. Walked out due to a reduction in force. I was one of the many heads that got chopped this morning. Whatever.
Now I'm on vacation until the next job starts. Whee! |

Laid off. Reduction in force. Not quit, not fired.
And quite frankly, I'm of two minds. One mind says "THANK FUCKING GOD". The other mind says "JESUS, I was there for eleven damn years, this is BULLSHIT!" But all is good. Severance package = vacation.
