I'm watching her old performances on YouTube and I forgot how I love her! I think she worked the hardest among all the contestants. She's charismatic
and fun. She picked the best song choices (popular but suits her). All her performances were memorable (Best of My Love, Anyone Who Had a Heart, Chain of
Fools, etc.).
She's like season 4's white Trenyce. <3 |

I remember Vonzell on AI4, she sang very well and she was a good performer. She was my favorite AI4 contestant.

No CD from her yet?Vonzell released an album and its called My Struggle, released in 2004 before auditioning in American Idol. |

I miss her! They say she was always pitchy, but I still enjoyed her performances a whole lot!

Where does the Ashley come from? Is this some rehash of the "Carol Smith" thing? I'm constantly amazed at the pathetic "white" labeling
Vonzell gets from SUCKsters for having a nice speaking voice and being from a middle class family with happily married parents. Vonzell's song choices were
usually generic R&B, unlike Nadia Turner's (Paul McCartney, Melissa Ethridge) so which one sounded more black onstage? I like Vonzell, but this whole
idea of (probably 99% white) SUCKsters "deciding" that blacks who don't act like ghetto trash are actually white is pathetic.

I've known lots of black girls in my life who weren't "ghetto trash" as you put it but they certainly didn't act as white bread as
Vonzell.
