I agree. Yau looked so stupid with this dumb look on his face. He let Jonathan speak and work for him, and look where it got him. He tried to play the
"old guy who isn't a threat" again and didn't work. He did NOTHING but watch his fate be sealed. He thought Jonathan = Earl.

I've got to suspect there was more to Yau's strategy than we saw. He got the editing shaft for a reason, and I doubt it was because he sat around and
let himself get booted. We weren't supposed to fall in love with him again, or else his boot would be too crushing, and we're probably supposed to end
up siding with the Couples Alliance + Cirie. We didn't get to see him play because he was hidden so as to prevent an uproar over his departure.
Or maybe I'm just being overly optimistic. |

I think he was just in shock that the game started so soon. Last time he pretty coasted all the way to the end. I think this time he was taken by surprise

I always thought that Yau-Man was overrated both as a strategist and as a character simply because the Fiji cast sucked. So. Much. Ass.

Agreeance.
We saw the girls dancing around a chicks vs. boys Plan B, which I think he saw, so why couldn't he have played good cop to Penner's pathetic cop and approached Ozzy? He could've at least tried to throw Penner under the bus, which would've been fun. |

I kinda got the feeling from him that maybe his heart wasn't in it. He was invisible from day one! Moreso than Ami! (Oh when she gets the boot, I think
there will be some epic meltdowns that will be hella fun to watch!).

It also boggles my mind that Ami and Eliza didn't go up to broker a deal with Cirie either.
It's like Yau/Eliza/Ami all lost their brains and left it all up to Jonathan, who also lost his brain and sanity, and ended any chance of Cirie EVER joining up with them in the future. |

This whole thing is kind of a clusterfuck. I fear that Eliza and Ami may suck up to the youngn's now, dooming JC. I hope not, but I can't get a read on
those two at all and that worries me.
