This wasn't even a shock boot IMO. This girl has no upper vocal range whatsoever. When she gets to high notes, all she does is scream them out.

The neediness was hard to watch. Pretty insane that Jason/Brooke outlasted her though.

If you had told me before the top 24 started that Michael and Carly would BOTH be out before the top 5, I wouldn't have believed it.
A lot of people had them as the final 2. |

Not quite as enjoyable as the Constantine boot but pretty darn close nonetheless

That was hilarious.
Carly: "I'm going to have fun starting now!" Ryan: "Go home Carly." |

The boot I've waited for all season was anti-climactic. It seemed like Ryan was going to say "Carly, you're going home....... ANOTHER TIME!"
He had this weird inflection on "home" and it didn't sound like the end of the sentence, so I don't think anyone believed him at first.
Anyway, good riddance to Shouty O'Screamerson!

Meh. I didn't really like Carly so I don't care that she went home but do we really need another week of Brooke? People would have been doing her a
kindness by letting her go home tonight.

For a second I thought Ryan was going to do a switch-up and replace Carly/Syesha with Jason/Brooke in the bottom 2. I'm glad he didn't. This was way
more fun.
Brooke's meltdowns will provide another week of entertainment, at least.

I have never been so happy to see someone cry. She was a nasty, unlikeable person from the first second she was on TV, and all her fake smiling couldn't
change the fact that she was a rotten-to-the-core, disgusting excuse for a human being, not to mention a lifeless and uninteresting singer.

I don't know whether she's a nice person or not. I don't know if any of these contestants are nice people or not.
But she does seem very self-entitled. As if million-dollar recording deals grow on trees and she should be allowed to have as many chances as she wants. Which would be fine - except she took the spot of another contestant who probably has never even had one shot at a recording deal, let alone two. That's what bothers me about all the plants this season. They basically screwed 12 other people out of their dream, so they could have a second or third chance at theirs. That doesn't seem right to me. They really need to change the rules next season. Maybe set a limit on the number of professionals or semi-professionals that can be in the top 24 in any given season. |

I agree, I've been waiting for her boot for weeks now...and it was definitely anti-climactic. It kinda sucked that she left when she didn't suck as bad as usual. This is just going to be remembered as a shoking boot instead of a she-totally-fucking-deserved-it boot. |

Archie already had his chance to be on a internationally televised talent show too, did he take someone else's chance at being on one?
