I had such high hopes for this guy after BoRap, but since then he's been a big old mass of bleh. I don't understand how such a seasoned performer can
look so lifeless and uncomfortable on stage. Put a tree up there and it would be charismatic than him. Total waste of space.

I think everyone expected him to continue his great performances after BoRhap, but even he says it was his best moment, meaning it was probably his peak and he
just got lucky with the amazing song choice. =/
I agree ej, he's never ever on my radar and he's always the one I forget about. I don't think he'll leave this week though, unfortunately. |

I had SUCH high hopes for him, now when I remember who sang what, I always forget him.

It's pretty funny that even he thinks BoRh was his high point. It's been downhill ever since.

I didn't even think his BoRap was that great. He sang in a monotone, which isn't exactly what the song should be about.
A Day in the Life was probably the first halfway decent performance I've heard from him. |

lame attempt at audience sympathy. try these. | ||
|
"My friend died" has to be the all-time lamest attempt at sympathy ever after a sucky performance. He needs to try standouts like "The dog I had
while growing up just died. And he was only 18 years old,""My parents are deaf,""my great grandmother just died," "This is for
X!!" (x=contestant booted the previous week), or AI's all time classic: "There was a massacre at a college in my state last week. I live 300
miles away and I didn't know anybody there, but one of my friends from high school went to college and he coulda been there. So vote for me or you're
supporting mass murder."

I liked A Day in the Life - it made me like him a little. I've hated everything he sang until this week. His hate and love threads are just as mixed up as
Brooke's - both hate and love in both of them. What is it this year? Seems people can post anywhere. Maybe because both he and Brooke make you alternately
like and hate them? Anyway I don't love him or hate him now. I have less hate for him...sort of almost "like" but really it's
indifference...I just can't hate him anymore because he seemed less repellant than most of the rest this week, singing Beatles. Also he seems so defeated
("I peaked in Hollywood") that it's clear he's not the pimped one anymore and is practically in Kristy territory...just considered fodder
now... I mean look at the former fans who are disappointed in him because he didn't step up. It's shocking, the lack of fan loyalty. The archies
don't dump their idol when he gives an excruciating performance!

The archies are brainwashable tweentards. They could care less what Archuleta sounds like, or even what style of music he usually sings, as long as he can sort
of carry a tune. He's a good looking, short, unthreatening guy who their developing hormones have latched onto with a vengeance. But Michael's fans, or
ex-fans as the case may be, probably skew older than that of the average idol voter. And a lot of them saw Michael not delivering anything that approached, let
along surpassed, BoRah or Light My Fire.

Shit... I thought the "Fattie/BLIMP" thread was the Hate thread.
