Obviously, you aren't a Danni fan, but your premise is ridiculous, at least as far as I'm concerned.

Jenna is also attractive, but I think she is seriously overrated as a winner. She merely joined in with a group, watched them all be voted out, and then won immunity when she was all alone to make it to the finals. (Craig will no doubt disagree, but that's his prerogative.)

Amber is more attractive than either, but she also did little more than attach herself to the power and hold on for the ride, winning a crucial immunity at F4.

Danni's cultivation of Rafe was masterful, particularly since the game was his if he had just voted Danni out. She convinced Rafe that she was not only not a threat, but that she was a great backup plan. Danni clearly called the shots at New Yaxha, and while the evidence is murky, she apparently did the same at Old Nakum as well, all while avoiding a target being placed on her. That's impressive playing no matter what she looks like.

Jenna voted for Shawna because Deena and Rob had determined that was the choice. To do otherwise would have created a tie.

Jenna turning on Deena was the only real move she made all game, but although it turned out OK, I'm not sure it was strategically sound. She would have been in Deena's final four too after all, along with Christy and Rob. The move was an emotional one because she preferred Alex's company to that of Deena and became convinced Deena couldn't be trusted.

Her social game is overrated too. Sure, it was light years ahead of Matt, who entirely neglected that portion of his game, but she alienated Christy, Butch, and Matt quite thoroughly, and neither Deena or Rob would have been automatic votes. (Deena said she voted for Jenna because she impressed her in winning the last challenge over Matt, who she didn't believe had tanked it, while turning down Rob's offers. Rob, of course, was just bitter that Matt did tank the challenge to avoid the decision.) Sure she had Heidi and Alex locked up and at least a great shot at Dave, but that's not enough by itself to win.

It is all relative to who you face in the end as far as the margin goes. Jenna would not have fared as well if she had faced Alex for instance (such as if Rob had settled for fourth place). A Heidi - Jenna matchup would have been interesting, but I actually think Jenna loses matchups with Deena, Rob, and Alex given the most likely game events leading to them (which may explain why so many wanted her in their F4). In other words, part of the reason she succeeded was because she was made an underdog, and that was none of her doing.

Perhaps you are right, Craig, that Jenna was viewed as more of a bunny type. That's possible, but it also shows that nobody was too worried about her (except Christy, of course).

I wasn't really looking at whether a matchup was likely, but what would happen if it occurred under the most likely events leading to it. I don't think it really counters my point that Jenna would have likely lost to Alex to suggest that she probably wouldn't ever have faced Alex.

My take on Alex v. Jenna, assuming Rob out in fourth and Heidi voted out by Alex at F3:

Deena - Alex
Matt - Alex
Christy - Alex
Butch - Alex
Rob - Jenna
Heidi - Jenna

I think we can count a Heidi vote for Jenna and a Butch vote for Alex as automatic. I think Matt respected Alex (at least before his real life attack on Matt at the reunion) even if it wasn't returned. Christy hated Jenna of course, and while it is obviously possible to sway her vote (since it happened in real life), a lot of that depends upon Deena. And I think Deena supports Alex. She didn't hate him - she just saw him as a threat to her, which he was. In the way this alternate scenario unfolds, she still sees Jenna as a princess dragged along to the end, and she votes for who she sees as the more deserving player. I do see Dave as probably a Jenna vote no matter how Alex would have answered his stupid question. Rob still could go either way, but the way he goes out in this scenario, he probably blames Alex for his boot.

My take on Rob v. Jenna, which most likely occurs if Jenna takes Rob's deal and Rob feels compelled to honor it.

I'm even more sure of this outcome. The vote most up in the air is probably Matt's, but I just don't see him being as spiteful as Rob. If instead, Rob got to the end with Jenna by ousting Alex at F4 and somehow winning at F3, I guess I don't see the votes falling any differently.

Finally, my take on Deena v. Jenna if Jenna had gone along with Deena's F4 (at least until Heidi's boot at F5). Christy finishes fourth, and Jenna votes out Rob at F3.

Dave might even consider voting for Deena since they bonded just before his boot. I'm not all that sure what Matt and Butch thought of Deena, but under this scenario, she would certainly come across as the better game player. Of course, I think Christy and Rob votes for Deena are a given.

Christy wasn't close with Matt much at all. She may have been with Butch, but her closest relationship was with Deena. Alliances of convenience don't indicate affinity in any case. Most likely, she looked for a reason to vote for Matt against Jenna, but with everyone else ridiculing Matt, couldn't find one. I have heard she didn't want to look like she was voting out of spite.

If you are right about Deena hating Alex, then I suppose Jenna probably would win that matchup, but again it would bear more evidence to Alex's game than Jenna's if such is the case. (I must say I don't recall reading anything along those lines, and I did go through Deena's thread in LTS at the time.)
