The fact that people liked Parvati astonishes me.
As for Amanda and James being most popular on the CBS polls doesn't mean much since a lot of people don't bother to vote in those. |

I know Candice had a showmance and Courtney and Katie had crushes. Those are some of the complaints I have about those seasons too. Courtney and Katie (and to a lesser extent Candice) were still more entertaining on their seasons than Parvati and Amanda. |

Actually after Survivor, Eliza graduated from Syracuse and then went on to law school. Thats hardly being a media whore. Also using the CBS website popularity
poll for factual evidence might be the funniest thing I have seen in quite some time. There no doubt in my mind fanboys such as yourself are sitting on their
computer all day ranking her high because she gives you a hard on.
Eliza is a fan of Survivor who uses logic and reasoning as her strategy. Parvati just does whatever her vagina is telling her to do at the time. |

I don't vote in those polls actually, and I don't like Parvati because I think she's hot. Sorry. And thousands more people vote in those than any of the "studies" done here. It's a more accurate representation no matter what you think. And Eliza has NEVER been safe in the history of her Survivor career. She's always been a target and has always had to worry. She's obviously doing something wrong in her allegedly stellar gameplay. Parvati is a huge flirt, but to say she lacks any strategy is ridiculous. She helped steamroll a lot of the Raro boots pre-merge, and in this season she's gotten in an alliance with three strong and loyal members using social play instead of frantically grabbing people for convenience. She tried to turn Fairplay potentially quitting into something STRATEGIC too. I like both of them by the way, but I'm not going to make them out to be something they're not, just like I hate Ozzy and Amanda, but I'm not going to try to discredit their successes on their original seasons. Some of you are just too delusional. |

I never said Eliza was a strategic genius. I do think she knows the game very well, because she knows the game. Her mouth gets her in trouble and that will
always be her downfall. In Vanuatu she had quite a bit of luck, but I always liked her because she was a fan of the show and she had spunk.

You're right. there's never been not one TC where Eliza wasn't a target, but what she lacked in social gameplay was made up in pure strategy and
manipulation. She's a target now (and will be until she's gone) because of that reputation.
When Cirie looks at which side to choose, it's obvious which side will be more loyal. Jonathan? Eliza? Past reputations will surey take down a few of my favorites this season. : { Screw Amanda/Parvati. |

Eliza and Parvati are my 2 top faves since ASS. Both original characters, give good confessionals, atheletic, won the family visit, cute but not surgically
enhanced. Hopefully Ami can talk some sense into them both. Go target Yao-man or Amanda.
I do see Parv as more of the underdog this time, with her nemesis Jonathan cast. Eliza gets her friend Ami but no Twila. Eliza is the Golden Girl with lots of Survivor friends, Parv grabs 2 from S15 who don't have any connections. |

MB chose Parvati and Amanda because he considers that they bring something to the show. I agree with him and they are my favourites! So stop saying they're not favourites, they are for me! I really hope they're final 2. I said it. |

Eliza > Parvati entertainment, interesting, lasted longer and more deserving to be there plain and simple Parvati is NOT underestimated by any means, notice how Ami/Eliza/Johnathan want her gone before Ozzy? OZZY!!! that tells you something that they see her as a threat or just don't like her or appreciate her game or whatever |

I fail to see the problem here.
Parvati was a major character in this first episode. She supplied alot of the plot. If you HATE her for what she does in the episode, then great, she's provided you with a villain. And every good story needs a villain. Boo her until she is evicted and enjoy doing so. And she does provide more that just a pretty, vacuous bimbo. I was genuinely impressed with the way she went after James. It was so blatant and expertly done. She is very skilled at what she does. |

Let me just say that I am glad PARVATI & AMANDA are on this season. I liked them during their first play.
From COOK ISLANDS, only CANDICE & PARVATI are the obvious choice for S16, and so were AMANDA & PG from CHINA. |

I'm not the biggest fan of Parvati, but I get tired of the trashing. Eliza--- horrible straightest. Even admitted when she got voted out that she had no idea what was going on. Strung along by Scout, Twila, and Chris. Chris took his chances in the final three against two older women, rather than taking Eliza as a true ally. Jonathan --- quite possibly the single most overrated Survivor in history. His strategy the first time around was bending over, taking it from Yul, and blind hope to be a goat, getting second place money. Adam and Parv didn't allow that to happen. Yul cut this idiot loose in favor of jury votes. Oh, but he chose the winner of the game, some would say. That's lame. Yul's Bitch. At least Parvati had a strategy that made sense. |

bidding, then more power to her.
People also forget that her social strategy in Cooks Islands was fucking KILLER. I'm not a Parvati fan by any means, although I do like her, but people here are going a little bit overboard. She deserves her spot on Fans vs. Favorites just as much, if not more, then fucking Jonathan does, since she fuck'in outplayed his ass on their original season. Her and Candice were consistantly the two most popular players throughout that season. |
