not sure what they are gonna do when a guy gets eliminated since it is about a girl who gets eaten up by Hollywood (i would assume they will cut the song to be
appropriate for everyone) but besides from that and the fact that "Home" was the perfect song for the montage year in and year out, I really like it.

Ir eally like You Had a Bad Day. It was overplayed on the radio though but it was fun to watch on TV. :)

That song's going to be monstrous. It's already been on the R&R Hot AC chart for 12 weeks, although it hasn't cracked the top 20 yet.

It's 'Best Days' by Graham Colton (who's Kelly Clarkson's ex-boyfriend).i knew his voice sounded familiar. did he break from the band? i have a couple of their songs. anyways, i listened to the whole song. pretty mediocre still. |

I like the goodbye song quite a bit, I liked Bad Day and Home the first 20 times also though.
Also they have had a great repitiour of songs for the audition episodes. They have used Brett Dennen Bright Eyes Joshua Radin Graham Colton All artists that I love |

This is a great song...I hope they don't over do it so that people get sick of it.

the song that comes up if you click that link is Hollywood's Not America by Ferras not Best Days by Graham Colton.....
if they are using Best Days by Graham Colton that is an excellent choice.... it's a great song |

By the end of this season you'll want to murder all involved with any song they choose to pimp out on Idol.

Don't think I'll get tired of Best Days at all.
Can't remember whether it was Conan or Leno, but I saw Graham Colton performing recently on a late night show. Last night, I went to YouTube and played Best Days, both an acoustic version taped at a radio station, and the music video. Definitely a song the calibre of Bad Day or Home. I hope they use it. |

Don't care for the guy's voice...
Ferras, on the other hand, is interesting.... |

Entertainment Weekly confirms that the
exit song will be the one I linked to in my original post (Ferras's Hollywood's not America) and NOT Graham
Colton's Best Days.

I like the song "Hollywood's Not America" from the first post but I can't see it work as the elimination song in the montages.
"Home" worked perfectly. "Bad Day" was good, but mostly b/c I found it funny as the goodbye song.

I don't see how Hollywood's Not America fits for the men (boys) on the show since the lyric is put on your jeans GIRL (or something like that).... I think best days is a much better choice for elimination songs... |

According to IDF, as well as Ferras' Myspace and website, the exit song is only for Feb. 12 and 13th (Hollywood Week).
Nigel said there were supposed to be 2-3 songs - one each for Hollywood Week, Top 24, and Top 12 (or just one for all of Top 24 to the end). When he talked about this, he said the main exit song is by a major artist. ...And I just checked the EW article. They mention that it's for Hollywood Week only. I love the song though since I first heard it in Jan. |

I hate the Ferras song, but I'd sure like to see him nekkid.
