Yeah, semifinals week two WAS rough. Alaina definitely deserved to stay. She was pretty, talented, and had done great the previous week. But she made a sucky
song choice that week and had a mediocre performance. I suppose the same things could be said for Alexandrea, though I don't recall any significant
surprise or outcry at the time (the title for this thread when she made the top 24 was "cannon fodder").

James, thanks for posting that. It's amazing how effortless she was there, considering how she was physically frozen and defeated in the Top 20 night. Her
vocals were still top 2 that night...

I just don't get why they pushed Screamesha and Asiah over her.So that there would be a vadgeless winner who wasn't the size of a Dumptruck or performed like he was being tasered. The women were intended as cannon fodder, even the plant! Only Brooke (until she lost her ever-lovin' mind), Alex and Alaina had a serious shot at advancing on merit. |

She was a good singer, Spinning Wheel and If You Leave Me Now were the best songs ever. "If You Leave Me Now" became worst during 70s theme in top 20
week eight weeks ago. Maybe she'll watch the season finale next month and she will see Archie on TV.

 She still has one of the best performances EVA' compared to this boring crop of contestants ('cept Cookie <3)
Why couldn't they pimp this Star Search diva instead of Archie? Alexandrea actually has, y'know, charisma.

Because they think Archie will sell millions of CDs. And Alexandrea's last song (perhaps foisted on her unwillingly) sucked. Plus she wore the worst pants
in the history of Idol that night.
