I still love her. Simon does have a point though - that was a little OTT in some parts. She doesn't always have to push it so hard. If she learns the
art of being subtle, she could be really amazing.

I like her style but Simon is right in that almost every song she sings will sound the same. I hated Dilana on Rock Star for that reason.

She is pretty predictable and has no color or texture to her voice. I still like her more than many of the others though.

I bet either her or Irish chick wont' make the top 24 since they're so similar, and if its only 1, I bet Amanda doesn't get it. Regardless, I don't think theres room for both of them in the top 12, so one will get eliminated and the judges will be all "wtf?! omg" but it'll be really obvious to the rest of the world. |

I'm not a fan of Janis Joplin Part Deux. We had John Stevens as the 50's throwback and Bo Bice as the 70's throwback, so I guess it only makes sense that we have Amanda Overmeyer as the 60's throwback. |

Why is everyone already criticizing her for becoming tiring and predictable in the next couple of weeks when you KNOW flaming OTT Danny will sing the same kind

Probably because Amanda's one trickness will be loud and obnoxious and not that pleasant to listen to or watch whereas Danny's divalicious performances
will provide major hilarity and won't be hard on the ears.
