What I loved most about last night's performance was that she did not change the lyric. Was she telling her boyfriend not to talk to that boy "that way", or her girlfriend? Only she could pull off that ambiguity.

Hate to tell ya - I don't think she seems bright enough to think to change the lyrics. She butchered Joan Jett last week. Unforgivable. I don't think she will have much of a career. Much more talented people have left the show with nothing. Treyence comes to mind. I thought she was better than Syesha, Kristy, and boring Ramiele, Jason, Michael, etc. She can be a horrible mess but last night I felt like everything finally clicked into place. Maybe that was only a one night fluke, but I think she deserves to be there.

She's horribly fucking inconsistent (witness last night's terrifying group sing solo) but I think it would be a stretch to say that she's ever been boring. Carly has more rock in her than this chick. Carly "I Wanna Be Celine" Smithson? I kind of like Carly and she's obviously a much better singer than Amanda but she's about as rock as Fat Fuck.
