After seeing Shannon and Mario dance again, I can easily say that at least one of them should have been in the finals (or both of them with Kristi), and they
both should have made it farther than Marissa and Jason or Christian (it's hard to say with those two, since Christian sucked with his Paso tonight, but
Jason was pretty bad yesterday).
A Shannon/Mario/Kristi finale would have been so much better. Oh, and the people on the ABC board are majorly pissed off about the winner. Read some of the topics if you want to have a laugh (and it also helps explain why Helio won last year, since apparently Mel was a "prefessional dancer"...god, some people are stupid. |

Oh, and was that SYTYCD's Artem in the second Usher preformance? He was the guy dancing with Cheryl. My TV quality was a little off, but it looked like

That's about all til tomorrow since I recorded (watched Hell's Kitchen then shut tv off) and am about to go off and watch it now. Oh but poor Edyta. She better be back next season..she's the main reason I watch & they better not saddle her w/ the residen geezer as usual. Give her another decent contestant. Usher needs to retire. He's no longer good or cute & his ass got wideUmm..he's always been ugly. I am not into that type of music and will FF his shit tonight but he's always been straight up nasty in the face and I remember seeing his Mother on something and she's got the SAME face..it's freaky and yes, ugly on a female as well.

She's actually gotten 3 decent people in the last 4 seasons (Joey Lawrence, Cameron, and Jason) so I'm guessing she might get someone shitty again. Kym is the one who deserves someone good after getting stuck with Jerry Springer, Mark Cuban, and Penn. She's one of the better choreographers and Joey Fatone was her only chance to shine, but I've heard that she wants to go back to Australia soon.

Yeah, she told TVGuide (or People, I don't remember) that she's thinking about taking either a year off from the television show circuit or going back
to Oz for their show, where she's won before. Of the female pros from THIS year, here's who they've been paired with before:
Anna: Jerry Rice, Albert Reed, Steve Guttenberg Julianne: Apollo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, Adam Carolla Kym: Jerry Springer, Joey Fatone, Mark Cuban, Penn Gillette Cheryl: Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Ian Ziering, Wayne Newton, Christian de la Fuente Edyta: Evander Holyfield, George Hamilton, Joey Lawrence, John Ratzenberger, Cameron Mathison, Jason Taylor Karina: Mario Lopez, BRC, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mario From that list, I'd say the pros with the most reason to be jaded are Edyta and Anna. Karina had a chance with two of her four (the Marios). Cheryl and Julianne have had only one egg each. Kym actually got Cuban to move at times. Meanwhile, Edyta has laid three eggs (Evander, George, and John), with her only real contender being Joey. Anna got stuck with a no-name model and an almost-forgotten actor, while her only other partner got to the finals the same way Emmitt and Jason got to the finals, by the sheer fact that they were big burly football men.

Kym has definitely had the worst, by a mile. Edyta can't really complain, though I do think her and Joey could have won a few seasons. Just having Mario
Lopez there ruined it.

* Do they give out 2 mirror balls or just one for them to share? The fact that Cheryl had one during her practice w/ Christian makes me think that both Kristi
and Mark will get.
* Yeah..Kym has definitely had the worst partners out of the other female dancers. She showed me when she had Joey Fatone that she was a really good dancer and choreographer but since then she hasn't had the chance to show off her stuff since she keeps getting stuck w/ older people or people that just plain suck. She seems harmless and nice enough and if she goes back to the Australia version..I might miss her. As for Edyta..3 out of 6 (1/2) being absolute crap isn't so great and yeah, Cameron was younger but he was really bad and got carried on fan votes alone for a couple weeks til he was finally axed. I voted for him b/c of her of course but that's besides the point b/c he just was not good. I'd say out of 6 she had 2 truly talented partners - Jason and Joey. I just really hope she's back next season and gets someone that will last til at least mid season. She's just such a great combo of hot, patient, sweet and loveable. Oh and Karina should get the resident old guy. I hate her so. |
