But you should also remember that it was PastorDice who came up with the first voting site concept! I'm no guru - I just took it and did a little programming to it. I don't want any "extra" credit that isn't mine! Second, from a few replies I feel like I should point out: The voting site is in a totally different location. Any bookmark you have is now invalid. You need to ask FLF for it...even if you had it before! :)

Thanks especially to Chap... he's a great mentor. Admittedly, it was a bit scary at first... once i got in (and got messy!) it's been really great! and to echo FLF's and Chap's last messages: website has been relocated.... toss those old bookmarks. If you HAD the link previously and have not gotten the new one yet... do not fret... FLF will be continuing to PM the new link later today (sat) (or you can ask for it, if you think you've been missed...) thank you. (and when did i start using words like "fret".... yikes!)

To FLF - I've practicipated in edgic during the last season (missed the first two episodes) and I think i've put my ratings on site for every episode, if you deem me worthy, i'd like to have the address to the site as well.

All have actively participated in the past. That makes a total of 47 potential voters at this point. If anyone feels I've missed them, please pm me or post a request here. Note: The Edgic site is given out on the basis of past active/positive participation in Edgic. The decision is not based on "how well" you play Edgic, but that you have a good understanding of how it works. The other concern is to keep malicious posters from disrupting the site.

I know many of you actively lurk/post in other forums that can contain spoilers or at least rumors. I can't police everyone and I can't go banning posters, based on purity tests. But, I can ask that everyone be up front and forthcoming if they read boot order/winner spoilers. And it is absolutely the right of Edgic players to call somebody on not stating that they are spoiled when posting here in Edgic. Those who want to make Edgic predictions secretly based on your spoiler info, be on notice. Those who don't want their Edgic season ruined by spoiler posts, be very careful about what threads you read. I handle it by staying in Edgic the whole season (and pretty much all the tween season these days.) The situation sucks, but's what it is.

The situation sucks, but's what it is. Same here, as much as I liked reading the entertaining posts in other parts of sucks, I didn't like how often spoiler info leaked into there. I don't even view the spoilers forum once the season is over anymore if the new season has already been filmed. One time when I did it the day after Cook Islands ended I checked the spoilers forum and saw what later turned out to be a joke topic title saying something along the lines of "congrats to Melissa, winner of Fiji", it really pissed me off at the time, till the cast was revealed and no one named Melissa was on it.

Now, with a "double first episode", will we count that on someone who shines in "part 2"? I guess it will depend on whetehr it is apparent that the two hours were edited completely separately with the intention of showing on two different nights. If so, then "first episode" is only the first hour. But if it is a crafted, two-hour "episode" (even with multiple boots) then the scientific answer is obviously "Hmmmmm".

The two half might be more organically integrated than we expect, or more time might be given to days 1-3 than days 4-6 (much like the two legs in the 2 hours finale of TAR 7, the non-elim one being over in 45-50 minute). "First Episode is Everything" theory now has more prestige than ever. I'm hoping for a switch-up, otherwise heavy-handed and predictable editing becomes as bad as spoilers. Remember that Yul and Earl were tribe leaders, Todd was a huige character all season, and Parvati was a boot target at the beginning. So when "Danni" wins again she won't necesarily get a big first episode.

The goal here is to analyze the editing of past winners to predict the winner of the upcoming season; we have seen that the winners of the past few seasons have had prominent first episodes - that doesn't necessarily mean that we focus on this one item to the exclusion of all others.
