Maybe the federal marshall got a tip that Kate was in Australia so he had wanted signs put up.

Since Ben wasn't on the plane is he the Hanso 1?

Ben travels all the time it would seem from all his passports and what-not.

I would be really surprised if one between Sun/Jin isn't one of the final 6. They've been central characters since the beginning. My guess is Sun makes
it off the island.

Yeah, Sun has to make it off the island. The whole baby thing...it would be too sad if she didn't.
I say it's Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sayid, Claire, and Sun. And the "him" is Kate's ex-husband. |

Would Kate and hottie still technically be married when she turned up alive? Or would they be officially unmarried when she was declared dead? That is, if
hubby hadn't already gotten it annulled.

I would think he'd want it annulled after the whole drugged-runaway-bride thing, lol. Let alone she goes missing and is presumed dead for awhile.
ETA - Wait, she was under an alias when she married him wasn't she? So that would make the marriage contract an illegal contract to begin with, wouldn't it?

Ah, good point. She was using a fake name. Still, I would imagine when he heard she was presumed dead he was sad, and that upon hearing that she was actually
alive he would want to see her. I'm sure he would have looked into who she really was and what she did after she left, and would probably have questions or
something. Do we know how old Kate is supposed to be? I was trying to figure out how long before the crash the marriage was.

IIRC Kate's age was 28 on the wanted poster. 28-30 is about right. The time capsule thing was a New Kids lunchbox. The tape she and Tom recorded was in 89 and she was (my guess) 13 or 14 at that time. |

Sawyer stays on the Island (Sun may have a similiar deal to hide from Daddy Paik but have her child survive). Ben cares for them while the O6 do his bidding in
the fight for the Island. The scene in the preview had a "dreaming" feel to it the way it was shot, and may be Kate thinking ahead to the celebrity
of getting off the Island and the pitfalls of being recognized or a wistful thought in a FF of how it could have been if she
hadn't been on the run.

The question that I really want to know is why was Kate not arrested immediately when she got back on American soil. That will be an interesting
story.
Who is to say that DIDN'T happen? It very well could have and we just dont know exactly how it ended up... though I too have always felt like they made her way too wanted for the crap she did. I think Kate IS one of the O6, along with Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Claire (Aaron wont count as one of the 6 becasue he didnt have a seat on the plane... his celebrity will be seperate for having been born out there.) I believe the "he" Kate was referring to will have been Ben. I also think Michael gets off the island, but not as one of the 6, as do some of the 'others' (lol) and some willingly stay on the island, which is who Ben has convinced Sayid he is protecting. |

If Kate is referring to Ben as "him" then wouldn't Jack want to be in contact with him? During the FF Jack is so desperate to get back to the
island. Ben knows more about the island than anyone so I would think Jack would have more to say in that scene with Kate if she was really talking about Ben.

I like the idea that Ben is Kate's "he" from the season 3 finale....But I also think it's Ben's funeral in that episode....so I really
have no idea about anything in this show.

My best guess at this point is Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, Claire and Michael.Or instead of Michael it would be either Jin or Sun(potentially both instead of Claire if their relationship fell apart again once they got off the island and they divorced).

Aaron is one of the 6, simply.

Aaron shouldn't count, since he wasn't born. And what's this Jack said about there being only 8 people who survived the crash, and two died on the
island? What's up with that?

This gets into the whole "when does life start" debate...but I think Aaron counts as he was (most likely...at 8 months) a viable child on 815.
