Jeff Probst has already stated how they obtained the footage. One of the producers saw the "couple" checking out a secret hiding place. So the
producer hid a camera there, and put a piece of tape over the red flashing light, so the contestants wouldn't know they were being filmed. Then the camera
person left the area, and the "couple" thought they were all alone in their secret spot, while the hidden camera caught them on film.

There are reports/rumours that Alexis and Jason hook up. I am inclined to believe that the two showmances are Alexis/Jason and Parvati/James. Amanda and Ozzy
probably only have a regular alliance.

Since the first one starts out right away it figures to be among the favorites, because they have probably known each other for some time. Perhaps that
explains the casting. Maybe somebody knew something about players away from the show. As I recall many questioned Amber in ASS, and she and Rob had been
friends away from the show. I remember them picking up a log and he asked her if she wanted to form an alliance and she smiled and said okay, like they already
had something going on day 1.

Is that a slip that a fan is involved? If it's a fan and a fave, it could be on EI, but then why would they have to sneak off? Are they still doing kidnapping this season? Because it could still be a fan and a fave if one is kidnapped. Then they'd want to sneak away from the group. Otherwise it could just be two fans, but then he wouldn't have started to say "A fan and...". He would have just said "2 fans". I wonder if Mary is one of them. Starting a showmance in ep.2 when you should be making alliances seems pretty dumb to me, and we have the rumors that Mary is booted for making friends instead of alliances, and for not knowing how to play the game. |

The extra footage from this is something that definitely needs to make the extra scenes from the show on the CBS website next week. It'll probably be the most watched one since they've been doing them. This makes me wonder if all the blurring and amanda not wanting her mom to see some of it from last season was part of a setup for this season. You know that amanda has to be really upset that what she thought was private is going to make the air.

The editors had no idea what woud happen during Micronesia. Filming for Micronesia started around the time episode 6 of China aired. |
