Just so you know, there's already a topic up about this in the Sucks forum.

Oh sorry, I didn't know. Just wanted to let people know just in case. I was wondering whether to just post it in a pre-existing thread or not, but I
didn't see anything directly relevant to Micronesia here. I guess I'll change the title to something more encompassing

I don't see the big deal in having one here and one at sucks, especially since some people only visit one or the other.

The videos were surprisingly interesting, the only person though that really shifted in my preshow thoughts on was Mary who surprised me, she seems pretty
smart now but we'll see!
Natalie was as bad as I suspected... |

I lol'd when Kathleen was talking about the younger girls and their boobies.

The only one I found mildly entertaining was JFP's, everyone elses were just predictible. Looks like most of these superfans are just normal fans, I
can't pick up an alarming amount of Survivor dorkiness from anyone. Kind of a let down, but Erik is still my pre-season fan favourite. Jason's better
than I thought, but his self-comparison to Ozzy gives me a big doubt in him..

Why would they put Natalie on the show when she admits in the interview she's going to act like a zombie?

Wow, a lot of those videos were disappointing, and then a few were randomly entertaining. I expected Mikey B to be a lot more over-the-top, but maybe that only
comes out in personal interactions with other people. Jonathan straight-up told us he would be playing a safer, more boring game, which is a let-down. Ami
doesn't want to be the Queen Bitch again, which sucks. Erik isn't as Survivor geeky as I would have hoped. None of the Favorites seem to have
interesting tricks up their sleeves or antics in store - all of them either want to enjoy the experience or want to play a safer game. And nobody is gunning
for anyone else, except for Fairplay's plans to take out the tribe's strength.
On the other hand, Kathleen was funny and Tracy was intriguining. I still hate Natalie, but I think it could almost be interesting to see how other people take her. And I'm really, really hoping Fairplay manages to stick around for a while, even though it seems impossible. |

Mary was annoying IMO. She sounded like she'd had waaay too much caffiene before doing that interview and the way she kept moving her hands was obnoxious.
I didn't like Natalie either especially since she said at the end, "I hope you all root for me. I'm a good girl. I'm a good girl."

Scary thing about this is, my preshow favorite is now, Chet?
|

Bobby Jon goes apeshit |

That IS scary.

I liked Parvati's interview, actually. JFP held my interest and he better bring some fireworks to the show. I don't expect Eliza and James to get
along well at all. Cirie will play a much more strategic game this season, though I don't expect her to survive the first six episodes. I think Mary could
go a long way. Natalie and Mikey B I expect to be either voted out quickly or making the season.

I think the interviews are on the first day and I have a feeling the players didn't know who they are playing against at that point. I couldn't watch
a lot of the interviews dang it

When you are watching Jonathan's interview it looks as if it shows you how the "newbies" will discover who they are playing against. It shows
Jonathan walking out of somewhere towards a line which has Cirie, Ozzy, and Ami waiting. So my guess would be the newbies are waiting on the beach, then Jeff
calls out each All-Star one-by-one, and they line up and have something to say to Jeff.

So if we compare the contestants to the original All-Stars who would people be:
Cirie = Tina - older weaker female who did well on their first season Yau Man = Rudy - older weaker man who did well on their first season Amanda = Jenna - pretty and strong female challenger Jonathan = Cesternino - the nice backstabbing strategist Fairplay = Hatch - the arrogant infamous villain backstabbing strategist James = Colby - the nice but non-strategic alpha male that people like Ami = Jerri - she is not really a villain but she is a strong female who can play leader Eliza = Shii Ann - they are not really alike but they play hard, they were outcasts, and Sucks loves them Ozzy = Rupert - strong at challenges and most popular among the Fans and very well liked by the public Parvati = Amber - they're not really alike but Probst said that she grew a lot like Amber and was a strong wild card choice |

^Switching James/Ozzy makes more sense to me, but I don't think we'll get the same outcome we had in ASS.

Well, if they're bringing exile island back, at least they're doing something right: Making one person from each tribe go. Should be interesting, at
least I hope.
What is dumb is the first II. Could they have had something a little more fair to the non-swimmers? |

Yea, James is more like Rupert, sorta awkward yet popular... plus he's in a season only a few have seen, yet was a big hit from the start.

That's a good comparison but I agree that James is more like Rupert. They weren't really that good players but they were both very popular. Ozzy and
Colby were like must-haves for any All-stars season
