I'm beginning to warm to this Willful McButtter person. No scarf needed.

Even assuming you are STUPID enough to live somewhere where it gets below zero, there are tons of people who wear scarves when it isn't subzero. There is
simply NO justification for them. NONE.

The necktie is the most senseless piece of clothing.

But...but...my CHEST gets cold. I NEED my scarf. I only wear it outside. I promise.

I would say vests are a little weirder than scarves. Ties are weird too, but I think they are more of an accessory than anything else, and those can't be
compared to vests and scarves. Personally, I wish it were socially acceptable to wear a cape, because I would wear one all the time. Capes > ties, vests
and scarves.

so a tie is an accessory but a scarf isn't?
good logic |

I never wore one when I was young but I do now. At least I did when I lived in NYC. I'm skinny. I get cold.

I've come to the conclusion that there's no way for a man to wear a scarf without looking significantly gayer.

Maybe accessory isn't the right word, but ties only have a decorative purpose, while scarves are supposed to have a practical purpose (keeping you warm).
I don't know how warm a scarf really keeps you. They just look stupid to me. All I'm saying is that I wish I could wear a cape. They have no
practical purpose either, but unlike scarves and ties, they look kinda cool.

Consider it a warning noise. |
