I dunno. Needs something. Cast was mediocre at best this go round. More Bourdain and Rocco would help.
Maybe set up a glass-enclosed kitchen and dining area in Times Square for the finale next time. |

I thought this season was 748 times better than season 3. I actually looked forward to seeing it again; last year it felt like a chore. And Steph is my
favorite winner by far.
Do people really think last season's cast was better than this year's? I can't even remember most of the folks from last year. I do prefer the spiffy little live finale they did season 3 compared to the taped finales, but that is the ONLY good thing about it. |

I thought they were both equal, frankly. I think some of the characters last season might have been a little bigger,but I think the competition was better this
season by far.

Yeah this season had some good characters but not as many BIG ones. But the competition was much better too.

I think there wasn't a big villain. Dale and Spike both had douchebag moments. Lisa was a cunt. But, most people had as their final 3 (based on talent)
of Richard, Steph, and either Antonia or Dale. Most of Top Chef's major villains were still talented. Going into the finale, most people thought Lisa
didn't have a chance not only because of her attitude, but because she was constantly in the bottom. In season 1, Tiffani was the villain, but still
talented. Ilan and Marcel were both assholes, but seen as talented. Hung wasn't a big villain, but had a cockiness to him that rubbed some people the
wrong way. He, though, was obviously talented. Even Wendy Pepper had more than one win (and won the final 4 challenge).

IMO Lisa was in the finale for ratings only. She just did not have the talent the other two had. She is primarily only good at one style of food, asian.
All season long they commented that her food was either too smoky or too spicy. I'm sure Lisa loves spicy food, but as a chef, you must consider average
diners who don't want that much spice.

I just saw a commercial for the reunion show and Lisa was saying people give her dirty looks now when shes walking down the street.

I think this cast was great...it had some really classy, likeable people we rooted for most of the time (Rich, Steph, Antonia) the hothead (Dale), characters
like Andrew and Spike and our "Go Lesbians" season...and of course Lisa

If Top Chef was based on the final cookoff, Lisa should've won. But I don't think they wanted such a cunt to win, although they did let Ilan win season
2 and he was a bigger cunt than Lisa.
