The biggest thing that came out of last night's ep for me was, for the first time in my life, I now really, really want to try sweetbreads. My next trip to Europe, I will be seeking it out rather than avoiding it on a menu. I am extremely intrigued and I would have loved to try Richard's hamachi & sweetbread appy. I don't think it's been blatant favoring of the females so much as it's been that the caliber of the men has not been the same this season as in others. For the longest time, the top 3 have been Richard, Steph, and Antonia. Dale was like a poor man's Tiffani or Marcel; good cook, but someone that no one really liked. Maybe he should've been final 4, but I think Richard, Steph, and Antonia should be the top 3.

Spike picked scallops. Others were pissed because they wanted scallops. Wasnt it safe to assume the scallops would be fresh and tasty in a restaurant from some high faluttin' dude? How was he to know that the a quality restaurant with a quality chef would have diner quality scallops?

I mean really its the Final 5, if 4/5 chefs knew it was a bad idea why did Spike grab them. Perhaps the show wanted to see WHO was smart enough NOT to grab the scallops. I just honestly believe that Spike should of been kicked off sooner. BOTH times he was told to pick items the other chefs couldn't use, he screwed himself.

Padma - Congradualtions Antonia you're the winner for this challenge. As winner you'll get 25,000 and an extra hour to cook your meal. In addition, you can take any dish you choice from either one of your contestants and then take something from the garbage dumpster out back, place it on your opponents plate and make them serve it or allow Nikki to cook one of their dishes. The choice is up to you. And now the bad news, Richard . . . .Lisa one of you will not go to the finale finale. Tom - Lisa we all hated your dish it was just horrible and Richard . ..it was good but you just haven't wow'd us lately. (Tom looks at Padma. Padma frowns) Padma - This is hard. I hate Lisa, but it is probably a good thing she's still around to hate for the finale or the hand-holding might be even worse. I am seriously suspicious about peanut butter mashed 'taters tasting good. I'm wondering if that win was Stephanie's last. Nice gifties for the local chef, now buh bye.

Frenching the bone. heh heheh heh Did anyone notice this? At one point they show Ilan do this really weird thing where he looks like he's trying to sneak up on his own fingers and eat them. As long as either Spike or Lisa left I didn't care which one. Would've been nice to have a double elimination, though. Lisa doesn't deserve to have gotten this far. They're starting to give Richard a loser's edit. As much as I've been cheering for Stephanie and don't mind Antonia, it will bother me if/when he gets eliminated.

During the meal, they fucking HATED her appetizer (and why nobody mentioned that it is the exact same salad she made in the quickfire a few weeks ago AND WON WITH is beyond me...). When judging table came up, the only mention they made of it was that the egg was perfectly poached. SO FUCKING WHAT? A perfectly poached egg does not a successful dish make!!! They could have told her that her appy sucked hairy yak balls, but she redeemed herself with the entree, and still put Lisa and Spike in the B2. But, no. They must protect her and only ever say good things about her even though she is a shockingly mediocre chef! At this point, I'd rather see Lisa win than Antonia... BTW, you guys are way too hard on any use of peanut butter as an ingredient. It can be AWESOME if used well...
