Even funnier was Jen's face getting bright red when asked if they were still a couple. I really thought Richard would win fan favorite for some reason. He never seemed to rub anyone the wrong way or cause drama and seemed to be a pretty decent chef. He should be the Next Food Network Star or Iron Chef.

Have you watched Next Network Food Star? That is the most amateaur shit I've ever seen. Richard is a successful chef in his own right and wouldn't be caught dead on that shit.

I can't believe I didn't catch it from the beginning. I heart Gordon, but this is so much more about the cooking which is what I love to watch. Cannot wait for next season and have already started looking for the first three seasons to watch them too. Glad Stephanie won she was a pretty solid chef through the whole season. Lisa with her "lesbian party" cracked me the f up at the reunion because she really does come off as the biggest bitch evah.

He closed his last one, Blaise because he was offered an extremely good deal to open a new one with backers with deep pockets. The new restuarant is called Home and he is in now in the process of preparing. He and his wife just had a baby too. Richard probably would have won any other season but circumstances were against him, not the least of which was that a woman had never won. He also shot himself in the foot, but he was not in full-on mode. He would be the first to tell you that Stephanie deserved to win, because you have to bring your A game. We know what Richard's adverse circumstances were, but we don't know what Stephanie's might have been. Stephanie's keeping her mouth shut and her head down and cooking was brilliant. I wanted Richard to win and I don't think the show tried to rig it so that a woman would win, but I think they tried much harder this season to get really good women chefs. So, congratulations to Stephanie BTW: Richard will be the more famous chef as the years go on..

Most people care about what is on their plates, not the temperament of the chef. If you wanted non-boring chefs to compete, then you need to throw in some other criterion into the challenges such as standing on your head when you present your dish. See how stupid that is? This is Top Chef, not Top Entertaining Chef.
