^ Though nobody will admit it now a lot of people had Ramiele going far, after her amazing week 1 performance, it all went downhill from there, but I still
loved her and hoped she would sing that well again, but she never did.

Maybe during the semi-finals, I guess it's possible.
8track's Carly/David/David prediction was 2 weeks ago, so it's not quite the same thing. :) I don't think there will be any more shocking boots this season. Syesha should go this week, then Jason, setting up the David/David finale. Maybe Syesha makes 3rd place, which I guess would be shocking. |

Yeah, I got the Carly in top 3 prediction wrong. But I shouldn't have. Jason & Brooke were both both terrible on top 6 night, and almost everybody
thought one of them would go, not Carly. But okay, I'll admit it. My Archuleta "prediction" is largely wishful thinking, mixed in with a LARGE
slice of historical truth. In every odd numbered season, a favorite to win HAS gotten booted when they got down to the top 4. Since there's no way Cook is
going, and not even Paula is insane enough to call Syesha or Jason "a favorite to win," that leaves Archuleta.

Hey, don't sweat it. I had Michael Johns in the final 2 up until he got booted.
But Archie isn't going anywhere. Remember, he's probably getting the pimp spot this week (Syesha just had it, Cook has already had it twice in the finals, and Jason had it more recently than Archie has). |

I don't see how there is no way Cook is going especially since this is his theme night, fans may be complacent. And Syesha was ahead of him last week. And
Archie's due for the pimp spot. :-O

I need to go back and look at some of my predictions. I know I lost the prediction game and the only possible chance I have of getting even 1 boot right is for
Archuleta to place 2nd. I'm pretty sure I predicted Brooke to win around like Top 11-10.

My original top 12 predictions at the end of the semis sucked swampwater as well (the Carly prediction alluded to above was made 2 weeks ago, I originally had
her booted in 8th place). I did get Brooke exactly right in 5th place and was closer than most people in predicting Syesha at 7th, but my top 4 is utterly
ludicrous. Here it is in all it's gruesome wrongheadedness:
4th place: David Hernandez. Ooh, got this this a just a teeny bit wrong. But if he had survived that first night and the stripper news, I DO think he was a good enough singer to make it this far. 3rd place: Michael Johns: Hey Michael! If you can't hit the high notes, don't try. Ouch. 2nd place: Ramiele Mulaby: People on Sucks will spend years trying to figure out why she got worse each week. Or won't. 1st place: David Archuleta: I decided to go with the conventional wisdom on him. Please God, I don't want to be right about this one!!! |
