A Memorandum/Directive to ALL Archangels!
To all fans of David Archuleta - Archies, Archangels:

Idol is now entering a very crucial stage of the contest. While other contestants are gaining momentum, and their relentless fanbases are slowly but surely growing, it is sad to note how some (or even most) of the fans tend to focus more on other, for a lack of better term, superficial issues about Archie be it his hair, his clothes, his smile, his pants, and who-knows-what-elses. His likeability is hard to deny, and While it is good to enjoy his cuteness and adorKability, may this fangirl in each one not prevent you from getting diverted. By that, I mean let us not forget to enjoy the more important aspects of David - his heavenly vocals, his moving performances, and his sincere desire to reach out to everyone through music. David - although extremely young at heart - has such a deeply connected, matured, and sincere musical soul that deserves more than just squeals and "omg, he's so cute" whatnot's. David deserves to get your undivided attention, dedication, and support. He deserves to be recognized way beyond his looks and charm, he deserves an appreciation for his artistry and character. And as fans, we can do this BEST only through VOTING.

ENDLESS, DEDICATED VOTING?

First off, Make a choice! No split-voting. Archie all the way! The recent "shocker" eliminations have proven that NOBODY is safe anymore, and nothing else - not even a great performance night - can save our favorite, except ENDLESS, DEDICATED VOTING. If your "other" favorites have gotten the boot, then you may realize how bad it makes you feel. Think of how you will feel if our boy leaves, it will break everyone's hearts. If your "other" favorite/s still exist on the show, then its now time to make a stand, and CHOOSE who is it you want to win. Yes, it's time to stop vote splitting, and its time to vote like crazy.

If you have time, please vote for Archie in online polls. Even if these polls do not exactly represent America, still it may influence many site visitors/casual AI watchers. Since we want Archie on top, might as well include these polls. Most importantly, please vote EXTRA HARD, EXTRA FAST, EXTRA PATIENTLY, with EXTRA PHONES for Archie.

VOTING WHAT's & WHATNOT's

UTILIZE YOUR ENERGY/RESOURCES WISELY. During the voting time block, use as much resources (both hands, 3 phones, etc) as you can. Such resources include your effort and energy, so save them for voting instead of nitpicking, over-analyzing and doubting Archie. We have no more room for negativity across the boards [Check: Ignoring Trolls for Dummies], so everyone just lighten up and trust Archie. Save your energy, and vote hard on Tuesday.

VOTE FIRST! When its time to vote, just vote vote vote. Remember that the message boards and websites do not shut down after performances, and thus the need to "post" online during voting hours whould only come second to your voting. Your comments and spazzing out can wait, but your votes can't. So vote FIRST. Chat, Post and Download LATER.

WHEN TO START VOTING? We have to put in as much votes as we can. Some people have confirmed that voting lines actually open during the "recaps" after the last performer, some even claim it starts at the middle of the last performer's song. So start voting by then. That would give us angels at least a few minutes (and a couple of votes) headstart.

TEXTING, GOPHONE, etc. Texting proves to be the FASTEST to vote as some have confirmed, to know more about it READ HERE.This would be very helpful especially if you have a little extra. It wouldnt hurt to spend a little to be able to take Archie to the top! 40$ for a Gophone would allow you to vote unlimited for him thru text. You may consider this.

VOTING OUTSIDE THE US? International voters who wish to vote may use gizmo.Download Gizmo HERE. I myself, am an international fan and I use this. Once the voice prompt says "Thank you for choosing...", there's no need to wait for him to finish. Hang up, and dial again. See THIS THREAD for more details.


HELP ARCHANGELS, SUPPORT ARCHIE

ITUNES STUDIO VERSIONS. Please support David by buying his singles. Let's show AI Prods that Archie can SELL records!

GIFTING ITUNES TRACKS. International fans who do not have access to itunes store may now have a chance to listen to Archie's tracks by having another angel gift him/her. Not only does this show extreme generosity amongst the archangels, but it also helps Archie's sales! If you want to "commit" to gift, enlist yourself at the ITUNES GIFTING THREAD. If you want to receive a gift, visit the thread to see the list of people you can request thru pm. Be sure to have a US based email address ready ("@yahoo.com").

Tips for Maintaining a positive online presence for David Archuleta:

Search for new information on David A. using Yahoo, Google and any
other search engines. If you find something positive, share it with
one of the groups. We want to be sure Archie's name is receiving new
hits online so industry folks will know the interest is still high.

Go to YouTube and listen to a few David Archuleta songs, if only
for your own enjoyment. Post a positive review, give him five stars
and ignore negativity. Some people thrive on spewing venom and getting
a reaction. Their words will have much less impact if it seems as
though no one has read them at all.

If you read a online journal review that allows comments, talk up Archie and his music! Alternatively, e-mail the writer. Again, stay positive. We want to present the news to the world that this beautiful singer has impacted our lives.

Write to David! Send him a postcard or a short note (long letters might get lost). And the producers will notice if David has a TON of postcards piling in.

ARCHIE FTW (PG13: ARCHIE FTMFW!)

I am sure we all love Archie/David. But that's not enough to show support. Remember that Rami's, Papa Johns',and Carly's fans loved them too but they got the boot. We cannot let that happen. Let us LOVE Archie and ACT at the same time. Forget all the haters, negativities and critiques. Don't let them get into you. Remember that the best way to shut them all up is to let them see Archie singing while all the confetti is falling at the Kodak Theatre -- that is for Archie to win AI. And only we, not the critics and bashers, can make that happen. So set all the negative stuffs aside, We only need the archie love and a phone to make him win.

Imagine that day when we'd see Archie on stage, perhaps teary-eyed, with all the confetti and the standing ovation. It gives me chills and goosebumps just thinking of how precious that day would be for him, and for us, his fans. That day would only remain a figment of our imagination if we do note vote hard. so VOTE HARDER than before, and start doing so this Tuesday. It's time WE GET SERIOUS!
