You're missing the point.
Archie DEBUTED higher. Cook SOLD more. What's bothersome is the fact that a news outlet is implying that Archuleta OUTSOLD Cook and compared it to Clay vs Ruben, which it isn't. |

I don't want to fanwar with the Archtards, I just don't want news outlets to validate the delusions of Archtards or Cooktards for that matter.
If their albums come out and Archuleta sells more than Cook all the Cooktards will be trying to spin that shit too. Either way it's retarded. The Clay vs Ruben bullshit was stupid and I don't want the media to try and create more of the same bullshit and by saying things like Archuleta did just like Clay and crushed Cook with his debut single they're doing just that and it's a straight up lie. |

Unfortunately, you are fighting a losing battle if you dont want the news outlets to continue doing this. I agree with you 100% that it isnt fair to compare them. But the news outlets will always be doing this. The Archie vs Cook fanwar has been huge, and so they will look for anything and everything to use against eachother. |

The entire structure of Idol is based on competition. Once you buy into the retarded premise of the show, you're stuck comparing the careers of singers
who have nothing in common. The Cookie/Archie fan wars seem mild to me compared to bloodbaths of years past. There was intense Archie hate during the Season
but that seems to have died down with Cook's win. Plus the Davids like each other.

Alright so I was really tired yesterday so I didn't have the time to post anything but that incredibly intelligent post you can read above... But after a week away from my computer and without my phone or anything containing Archie's picture or voice, I kinda went through withdrawal for a few days. Seriously. It was kinda weird and scary, but it wasn't too bad! But now I'm back in Archie fever, and I've come back to see if there are any Archie updates and there's not many... Crush moved up to #12 on the Pop 100.. The video will apparently be released on September 4th, so I'm looking forward to that... Let me know if anything important concerning Archie happened over the last week! Thanks. |

Just moved onto campus at my new school today! Ahhh... I brought that photo of Archie I had that never got signed at the tour  I don't wanna hang it up
