I'd say that Seacrest is about 5'7" or 5'8", and Archie is visibly shorter than Ryan. Then again, Ryan probably wears lifts

I can see where it's possible that he's 5'7" if Ryan is really around 5'9" as he claims, which could be since Ryan seems to be about the same height as Jason, whose mom has confirmed that he is 5'9". I was just looking at pictures from the finale, and it does look like Archie's just a couple of inches shorter than Jason. Cook is supposedly around 6'1" and MJ 6'3 and a half so I'm also judging from pictures where he's with them. Maybe he's 5'6" and 1/2 and fudges the half inch. Yeah, I'm bored. |

I don't think I posted it here, but I absolutely loved Arch and One Republic doing Apologize. That's something they could put out together. It was
nice to see Arch could do something current and not have it seem ridiculous (sorry, I love the kid, but "my boo?").

Ryan Secrest is 5'5"; demonstrably so, since he's been shorter than close to half of the female contestants over the years (Carly & Kristy,
this year). And his shortness is an occasional running gag on the show. He is the same height as Brooke and is just a little taller than Syesha, whose bio has
her listed at 5'4." So far this all makes perfect sense, right? Now let's add in David Archuleta. David is is a little shorter than Syesha and a
couple of inches shorter than Ryan. My conclusion: David Archuleta is 5'3", not 5'7" and the article is full of shit. Disbelieve it if you
want to and make Ryan 5'9" as well (which in fact you'd HAVE TO DO for any of this to work), but that would mean there's been an awful lot of
EXTREMELY tall women on the show over the years! Jennifer Hudson, for example, is about 4 inches taller than Ryan; by this twisted thinking she would go from
5'9" to 6'1", in which case you'd wonder how she stays in the same frame as Beyonce in Dreamgirls, etc. etc.

Jennifer Hudson is 5'9. She's much taller than people realize and I have no idea how tall Beyonce is. Almost all of the women on Idol wear heels which
give them an extra 3 to 6". I'll guess Ryan is more 5'8 or 5'7 and not 5'5. Archie is probably a couple of inches shorter than Ryan.

Elliott is shorter than Ryan and he's not 5'3 but more like 5'5 so Ryan is def at least 5'7 (maybe he wears lifts). I can't believe I even
care how tall they are.
