However, if you want some chills you should keep an eye out for an upcoming release called Paranormal Activity. S. Paranormal Activity Katie and Micah were a promising young couple, with a carefree life, until bizarre events began occurring in their new home. Katie was no stranger to paranormal phenomena, as she had been stalked by a malevolent entity since childhood. They purchase a video camera in an attempt to find out what's happening as they sleep at night. Over the course of three weeks in September & October of 2006, they ran nightly surveillance and captured indelible proof on home video, which has been edited into a feature film.

I'm excited to see the movie, but like elwayfan....more than likely it will disappoint like all other books to movies that I see.

How did you? What bothers me is despite the positive buzz surrounding the film, Paramount chose to not hold any screenings (except for the LA area, if I'm correct) until tonight at 10. Negative buzz starts right about...now. But yeah, from what I've seen, Carter Smith + Darius Khondji = beautiful.

The film should already be in post-production, but from what I've heard it might be a total crapfest that follows the typical plotline - a group of generic local teens with nothing better to do that slack off encounter a chain-wielding killer called "chain-man" who picks them off because they failed to forward his chain letter.
