I really wanted to see Ken and Gerard win, they were my favorite, really good racers and entertaining.At least they are the only team in the Top 5 not from the last two seasons - to have not been on the show for 9 seasons (or even referenced on it like Flo/Zach have been) and be up with teams who are still in recent memory is proof of how awesome they are

Ron and Chris and Terri and Ian should not even come close to Ken and Gerard and the Chas. I have a very bad feeling that Ron and Chris will win.

Ron and Chris deserve to win ... they have potential to a sentimental fave many seasons from now. They were the best thing to come out of TAR12.
Ron/Chris FTW! Cha Cha's are overrated, IMO. |

I think Ron & Chris will be top 15 for a good while. They will be the remembered favorites of S12. Kynt & Vyxsin will probably stay in the top 30 in
the next survey, while Nick & Don will probably drop to top 50. Perhaps the next survey should be limitless in responses and done in the middle of next
season, but not include those contestants. I think the 100 response limit really skews these results.

I'm on the "surprised Ken & Gerard were beaten by Teri & Ian" train, even though I liked both teams in TAR3. But yeah, Teri & Ian
being on the fairly-recent All-Stars season certainly had to help.
ATF said it's not even close? Then I think Oswald & Danny will win the survey again by a landslide. Ronald & Christina will probably take second. Agreed, though, that the Chas are a little overrated, chapera rocks. |

I'll take a team where one member doesn't demean another constantly over a team that does any day of the week.
As for Ron & Christina's longevity? Nicolas is busy dashing some of that as he disses the dirt. What he says leaves a bad taste in the mouth about this team if any of it turns out to be true. And Christina's own comments about liking Azeria because he practices tough love sounds like she is really messed up inside liking a Big Daddy clone these days. I want to like Ron & Christina but the more I hear about them the more they give me the psychological creeps. The most likable team from TAR12 for me was Kate & Pat because in their short time they really supported each other, loved the experience and were kind to their competitors. I'll add them to Ryan & Chuck, Tramel & Talicia and the Gutsy Grannies as early out teams I most want to have a second chance on TAR. Anyway my top teams would include the Chas, Charla & Mirna, Ken & Gerard, Kevin & Drew, Tara & Wil, the Bowling Moms, Mary & Peach, Teri & Ian and a few individual Racers like Mama Paolo, Zach, Nancy, Margarita, Jill, Blake, Millie, Gretchen, Chip and Colin. Maybe it's the editing or maybe it's the casting but most of the latter Racers just don't grab me like some of these earlier Racers do. The classic editing made you feel you got to know these people, were almost racing with the. Latter editing tends to just make these teams cardboardish and you feel like you are looking at them from a distance. I think Grandpa Don would have been better served with the classic edit because he seemed like a really interesting guy. But all we got were some sound bites and not a feel for the whole person. |

I don't think so.
Look I really wanted to like Ron & Christina and the warm and fuzzy happily ever after "ending" and maybe I could if I wasn't online. And I just don't mean Nic's comments. I could ignore them as sour grapes had it not been for Christina's own regards Azaria who acted towards his sister a lot like Ron acted towards Christina. All this stuff just leaves me feeling down about this team. It's depressing the cycle is repeating itself and there really wasn't a happy ending after all. It's like the false ending we got with Reichen & Chip and how they could do anything together. Then we find out they weren't together. You can get away with a false storyline with a team that goes out early but teams that stay in a longer time the truth always leaks out in the end. So why the editors do this is beyond me.

And he said a lot on TAR2. His support of Oswald when Oswald hit the wall in Thailand and his comments about same was some of the best stuff on TAR ever. It was the blueprint on how you support your teammate when he has a bad day on the Race. Something Ron could learn a lot from. |

Perhaps dipshit was too far, but he certainly wasn't an intriguing character at all. He never did or said anything memorable like Oswald did. And he said a lot on TAR2. His support of Oswald when Oswald hit the wall in Thailand and his comments about same was some of the best stuff on TAR ever. What? I don't remember any of this. Now you're reaching to find memorable things. Maybe being a supportive guy is interesting tv for you, but it certainly is not for me. Hope/Norm were supportive but they were pretty much the most boring people the race has ever seen. Look, I actually would rank Oswald/Danny above Ron/Chris, but neither of them would be in my top 10. |

Didn't Danny and Oswald have some huge falling out or something. If they were truly caring and loving, they wouldn't have not spoken for such a long
time. Depending on what caused the falling out, D/O may not be as wonderful as we think (if the cause was small, it means they're petty, and if it's
big, it means one of them did something really bad).
And you're acting like Azaria was horrible to his sister (which he wasn't). Ron and Chris were great. Who cares what Nic says. Other than Nic, only the sisters didn't like Chris, and Nic has said they were bitches. |

Sigh...that sucks. I like Ron and Chris and even without the TAR12 bias I figured they would make the top ten just because they were incredibly popular around
here...but #1? Definitely a surprise. It shouldn't be, but oh well. I did a characters survey after Survivor: Panama and Cirie was #1 somehow, ahead of
Richard, Fairplay, Rudy, Sue, etc. You need at least three or four months to judge these things, probably longer. Still, great work ATF. I do love the fact
that the TAR3 final three makes up half the final six.
