If they do not show them going into restricted area, I will be pissed off and it really will diminish the validity of the game play if they remove anyone because of this infraction and lie to cover it up. I really have trouble believing this spoiler because there are always producers and camera crew with them and they know they would be caught, no matter what. Especially if it is all of them together. I do believe that James is taken out somehow as SF has always claimed that he 'makes the merge' but never states that he is a juror. Which I found bizarre since it was posted.

At this point in the game, James has got to realize he has zero possibility of winning. He doesn't have the allies, he's not that good at these sorts of challenges. He's lost his buddy, he's lost his squeeze, he's hungry and grumpy - I can imagine him saying Screw this, I want a burger.

They were in the cave and they made out in front of everybody. They thought there was no cameramen there to film them. Except that there was a hidden camera right in front of them that they didn't see. I agree that there is an actual real injury. I mean for a while we thought Kathy cut her fingers off or something.

If James is injured don't you think they would bring him back to the Jury? They did for Bruce. Unless it's such a horrible life-threatening injury that he has to be removed completely and taken far, far away to heal? Then how do you explain him being in that post-game picture with the other favorites? IF they did that, that means they changed it to a F2 with the original plan as being F3 (since the Jury started at 10). Don't they plan out everything in advance and can't change it? I remember an interview where Probst said they plot out the entire game in terms of twists beforehand and give it to lawyers or something to prove they just don't make them up on the spot. Can't somebody accuse them of rigging the game? I'm sure they would have just bought Ami back as a replacement juror or something instead of completely changing the already pre-determined format. Not until I see it happen. Nothing has supported such a rumor besides the rumor itself. Its been said that there is "a game changing injury" coming up. Not "injuries". And why the heck would Burnett give James 500 k pretty much at the China finale (knowing full well that he'd win the fan voting) as a reward for getting kicked off the show. Nah I don't buy it yet.

I don't know how James being injured would qualify unless there is a Amanda, Cirie, James and Erik Alliance formed and kept secret until after the Jason boot tonight.

Ya, maybe, but at this point it was just 2 of what 18 survivors left in the middle of the night. What was suggested was that the final 6 all move into a restricted area. NOT going to happen. It is still possible that James, or someone else is removed from the game with an injury. With a competitor leaving with an injury that would leave one less tribal council, and one less challenge to complete if that was true. So I could see them carrying on with the same number of challenges, and the same number of TCs which would end up with a Final 2 instead of a final 3. I think that it is an authentic way to finish out the game, while not originally intended to be a final 2, a removal due to injury makes production move to a final 2 and surprise twist for all! I think it is a better way to handle the situation, rather than skipping an episoded tribal council and immunity challenge (didn't they do that for Bruce on Exile?). With all the injuries and removals from the game this season, I can see Survivor always beginning with more than 16 survivors and an F3 from this season forward. Posts: 2591 (04/24/08 4:30 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	The game changing injury could mean that the injured player is not able to attend the Final Tribal Council so they change it back to a Final 2 instead of a Final 3 so that there can be a jury of 7. I will be very disappointed if Erik is booted next week. Since there will not be a tribal council with 6 contestants, due to the injury, Cirie will not be able to join up with James and Amanda to force a tie, Parvati will gain control of the game and Cirie will be very vulnerable at Final 5. The only chance that she would have is if Parvati decides that she has a better shot at winning with Natalie and Alexis on the jury and she stays with the Final 3 agreement that was made in episode 3. If it is a Final 2 then Cirie cannot win unless she wins the Final Immunity Challenge.

James getting injured would not be a game changing because he's just gonna get picked off with the rest of the guys unless, like you stated, another alliances pops up that includes him and it crumbles cause he gets ejected.

Good call. That would definitely be game changing. Is there any precedence for removing a juror? If you missed one TC you are out because you missed some of the game play? As was pointed out the schedule points to either a double boot(unlikely) or an injury removal and boot in the same episode.

Still, IMO Parvati is a shoe-in in the finals. The question is who would join her. Is Parv that stupid to take Cirie or Amanda on the final 2 with her? Or is she gonna take the chance of facing a fan? Rumors are flying on a Natalie blindside on "I'm gonna fix her", I would look forward to that. And I think the spoiler about the restricted area is bull. But we'll only gonna find out in the the next couple of weeks.

Admitting to being influenced by another thread, I'm starting to think that Alexis is the blindside and not Natalie. I thought it was Natalie because of her saying that "the women are unconquerable" in the promo. The usual pattern is that when someone is shown making a smug comment in the promo that person gets booted ahead of schedule. But then again consider the sudden increase in Alexis' visibility in the merger episode. Amanda wanted her out and Cirie identified Alexis as a "triple threat". We also saw Cirie's and Amanda's reactions to Alexis not being concerned about being a triple threat. All of this was included in the episode for a reason and as of now the story arc for Alexis has had no further development. In any case, CBS has been hyping that the women are in control and the 3 guys are out next. Whenever they do that, it doesn't work out and there will be a man in the Final 5.

This was such a huge blindside and Parvati is basically kissing that friendship goodbye. So, it would actually take her bringing up the idea for her to even go along with it. Why would she suddenly change her mind right after the IC, when there wasn't even that much time left for TC? Parvati was the one who intitally talked about getting Ozzy/James out in episode 7 or 8!
