Well, the thing about the jury is that you are free to pick your own criteria as the juror for how you cast your vote. You can reward or punish someone as you wish. So while you are free to vote for the "best player" as you see it, you better not base your strategy on the jury doing that if you're in the final two. Even though many jurors rationalize their vote as an objective one, most jury votes are subjective. That's why the game is tricky. I've never bought this whole "blame the juror" malarkey that came up when Neleh lost and then Robfather lost. The jury has never had the obligation to be deferential or objective to the final two. What JP says in nearly every post-merge TC is that what you are doing is voting someone off and then asking them to give you a million dollars. Cast your jury vote the way you want to. Don't for a minute think that everyone else on the jury or even anyone else will use your same criteria. It is up to the players still in the game to vote people off in a way that still enables them to be willing to give you the million dollars at least as the lesser of two evils.
