I don't see Jason or Erik as locked in votes for Alexis anymore than I see Ozzy, Amanda and James as locked in votes for Parvati.

I doubt that Natalie would take any votes away from Alexis.Catalie just being there takes a vote away from Alexis, because it means that Catalie herself can't vote. And don't assume that no one would vote for Catalie. For instance, I could definitely see Eliza potentially voting for Catalie over Parvati and Alexis, both of whom she didn't seem to get along with on the show. And for whatever it's worth, Catalie is actually friends with more potential jurors on MySpace than any other potential finalist. Here's the breakdown..... Potential Finalists' MySpace Jury Friends Catalie - Alexis, Cirie, Eliza, Erik, Jason, Parvati (6) Alexis - Catalie, Eliza, Erik, Jason, Parvati (5) Parvati - Alexis, Catalie, Eliza, Jason (4) Cirie - Catalie, Eliza, Erik (3) [Amanda apparently no longer has MySpace] So if you go by MySpace, Catalie is actually the most popular potential Finalist with the jurors. (Eliza even friended Catalie's music profile!) |

I think the Alexis is self-absorbed talk is coming from the blogs she wrote a while back. Obviously she has not been show or edited as self-absorbed.

Cirie has been getting a very good consistent edit so far. But there are certain things that have happened that definitely spoil her chances of actually even getting into the finals. For some reason, I have a feeling that Cirie has been trying to defend some of her actions/decisions. After the Yau boot, Cirie posted a msg on her MySpace saying why she did that and why she alligned with the couple alliance. Now, if she were in the finals, there is actually no need for her to defend this decision. It could have potentially been the main reason why she reached the finals.That is interesting. I'd never thought of that before. |

Secondly, Eliza recently said in an interview that Cirie told her later on (sometime after Eliza was booted) that if she had known that Ozzy had the HII, she would have alligned with Eliza and tried to vote out Ozzy. If Cirie is indeed in the finals, there is no need whatsoever for her to even want to go back and change anything that she did. And especially change something as dramatic as voting out different people. So after looking at these instances, I think we can say that there is no way Cirie is in the finals. Or.. did you ever stop to consider that she isn't the bitch people have attempted to make her out to be this season, and she actually might care what people think of her? If I came off of my first time playing with a very favorable edit and alot of people loved me I think I'd feel the need to defend myself too getting negative comments from fans on how I played the game the second time. No one likes to go from being popular and fans loving them to being the center of accusations of entitlement and downright bitchy behavior. I would imagine if she did win the game in the end she wouldn't want to sit in front of a live audience booing her just because they didn't like her edit the second time around. I'm not saying you can't be right.. but I am saying that people should stop taking their own assumptions and turning them into gospel. ...and anyone who plays the game and says they don't care what people are saying about them afterwards is lying... I.E. Johnny Fairplay putting such an emphasis on how he's "a changed man" right before he was voted out. and as for the bit about wishing she'd taken ozzy out. She's slated to outlast him anyway so I really don't see how a statment of her wishing she took him out would be relevant to her losing.

I wonder why SF has not updated their Bootlist yet ? Usually they are right on the ball and the list is updated within a day of the televised episode.
Could they just be watching the speculation fly on the boards over next episode's bootee, and then they offer up the next bootee's name on Thursday morning ? Or do they really not know who the next bootee is ? Hmmmmm. |

Alexis in the final 3 would make it slightly better but with the lack of story she's had, it wouldn't be much better. She'd still lose unfortunately (again-evident by her lack of story thus far). Any scenario where Parvati wins this season is horrible. Sadly, without Cirie in the finals, it seems inevitable. However, Cirie is our winner, so it doesn't matter. Whatever Eliza said about her and Cirie and Ozzy's idol doesn't bother me. I'm not buying that she would come right out and tell us about a conversation she had with Cirie in loser lodge. |

I almost doubt that Cirie ISN'T in the finals just because a Finale with Parvati, Alexis and Catalie would be so damn dreadful and catastrophic. Cirie
needs to be there. And really, I just can't picture those three....borewhores being in the finales, otherwise the editors would have, at the very least,
given Catalie and Alexis some depth.
If it's a Final 2 though, I can see it being some combination of Alexis/Parvati/Catalie. I don't see how they'd change it from an F3 to an F2 just because someone from the jury has to get removed -- it'd be completely unfair to the three. I still just think it's an F3, there's a tie vote between two, and that's that. |

Based on the previous episode with the upturn in visibility for Alexis, there are two possible directions things could turn at Final 5.
I thought that a key quote was "I don't want to be up against Alexis at the end. She's a motivational speaker for crying out loud!" This could foreshadow that Alexis makes it to the Finals with Parvati and Amanda. On the other hand, Amanda and later Cirie identified Alexis as a threat, yet in her answer to Probst, Alexis was oblivous to fact that she was a possible target. So, at Final 5, Amanda and Cirie are able to persuade Parvati to vote out Alexis leading to a Parvati/Amanda/Cirie final 3. Since Natalie continued to be ignored in the previous episode even though she is part of an alliance, she is not a factor and finishes fourth in either scenario. In the past, contestants with low visibility that have little to no role in the overall story (Butch, Darrah, Jenn, Sundra etc.) have finished fourth. I'm leaning toward the Parvati/Amanda/Cirie Final 3 scenario because of Probst's talk of all the blindsides, it's not likely that the LA chicks alliance is the Final 4. Even with this scenario, Parvati could likely eke out the win. She should get votes from Alexis, Natalie and James. I have no idea who Jason would vote for but he's known Parvati the longest. He might even pull the pick a number between 1 and xxxxx crap. |

I agree with you tullfan2 that your scenario seems likely. But I would much rather Cirie not even be in the finals than be up against Parvati in the final 2/3
and lose to her. Can you imagine that?

agree with Jedijake that I think Cirie wins.
Those edgic people are driving me nuts. Parvati may not even get a negative for this past episode! I would like to see an edgic of a season done while the season is on and then one once the season is over to look at the differences in ratings. I think that a lot of it would be different. By the way, I rewatched the 1st and 9th episodes again. Cirie is definately the crab (the animal imagery that they edit into the episodes). In the 1st episode Parvati and James are in the woods (doing who knows what) and Parvati finds a crab. She picks it up and starts screaming and throws it to the ground. She then puts her foot on it and asks James if she should crush its shell. He says no and picks it up. Then the scene ends. In episode 9, we are again shown that Cirie is the crab when the crab starts to walk up a tree. They then show a clip of Cirie walking to get treemail. It might be grasping at straws here, but maybe it was supposed to represent that Parvati never gets rid of Cirie and that is her downfall? |
