JT's "win" is a special case. There has never been a season where people were ACTIVELY TRYING to make someone else win. Call the Thailand or
Borneo casts stupid, but they all wanted to win and were playing for themselves. The Tocantins cast was loaded up with millionaires and people who just wanted
to look good for the cameras, so they didn't care about winning. JT probably went around telling some sob story about his father dying or whatever to get
sympathy.

JT is a good winner, but what makes someone "the best" is all a matter of opinion. The fact that he never got voted and won unanimously is
impressive, yeah, but I still think it's part of the bias that comes with the f2. Sierra & Debbie even said they were impressed with how much Stephen
was running the game, and I think Stephen definitely had more influence on how he & JT voted than JT did. Still, JT gets more credit because people liked
him more and he was a big strong alpha male.

At best, JT can be considered a mid tier player. I agree with ADC that his charm contributed towards people activly wanting him to win, which says a lot about
his social game for one thing. Second, he was a good challenge winner. My criteria for winners would put him around Danni Boatwrights level, square in the
middle.

Except Danni is the second-best winner, not middle tier.

Only if you believe Social Game>Strategic Game>Physical Game. Danni played very well pre merge, and then was stuck at the mercy of Rafe. He easily could
have booted her at the final 4 and still win the jury vote. I compared her to JT because they both charmed the cast enough to get the win, but there is nothing
to show that they do well under adversity.

Uh, how about overcoming tremendous odds to make the finals and win? JT, Danni and Chris are the top three winners of all time because of the odds they
overcome.

But Danni was also a boring wench, which can't be ignored.
I literally couldn't tell you one interesting thing about Danni or that Danni did. |

I literally couldn't tell you one interesting thing about Danni or that Danni did.She was plucky heroine who defeated the foul dragon Steph, even after all her allies had been slain <3 I think she's one of the better winners both strategically and likeability-wise, but her luck with the Final 6 immunity was definitely crucial - if she'd survived without it, she'd definitely be one of the Top 3 best. |

Props to Danni for the odds she overcame, but lots of her game was flying under the radar, when Steph stuck her neck out and took risks the entire time, plus she was a returning player who had a HUGE target on her back, so her game is more impressive to me. Danni is a decent winner, but definitely not top-tier. She got Stephowned just like the rest of the Guatemala cast. |

did you miss the part where she voted out Blake because his stories were annoying? Nakum still had the numbers and it got rid of merge threat who Danni wasn't particular close toSteph booting Judd would be enough to make her one of the worst endgame players ever. Then she booted Lydia and became easily the worst end-game player ever. |

JT was handed victory and he never really played the game at all. He's not even that big of an immunity threat. He's an average guy with a southern
accent and the latter is why he won.

Your season writeup = spot on, though I honestly might place the season at the very bottom.
Ew @ JT #1, I would only put him above Yul and maybe a few others (Vee/Danni/Aras), blech. But you know me. |
