Boone Carlyle

Status: Death by being in the plane when it collapsed. Showing up in drug trips, visions, and flashbacks galore

Boone was... bleh. I really liked his apprenticeship with Locke storyline but as a character he just never stood out to me as much as the others did. Ian is a good actor, and I think he did the role well, but I remember at his death I just was kind of like "Oh, OK" (then again, I knew it was coming because I first watched on DVD and it had been partially spoiled). In retrospect I kind of appreciate him a bit more but still not a huge amount... Also, even if they were only step siblings banging your sister= never a positive character trait. I wished they had given him an independent romantic story on the island, though I heard some rumors the writers originally had him with Claire.

I got to say though his apperance in Locke's sweat lodge vision was AMAZING. Ian had improved as an actor TONS and he really nailed it. I remember really enjoying that scene and it makes me want to see him give someone's vision again (probably Locke again...)

Nikki Fernandez

Status: Buried Alive

Unlike Paulo, I actually like Nikki. First of all, Kiele Sanchez is actually a good actress (unlike my perceptions of Santaro's acting). I never had a problem with them just "suddenly appearing" and so I took them as they came. Sure, their flashback episode was kind of a waste of a slot but she had some good scenes. I really liked that scene with her flirting with Artz, it was perfectly done on both actor's parts. I wish they would have just killed off Paulo and let her live. They could have done a lot more with her I think. Of course, Lost just doesn't have enough females so that's another good reason to have kept her alive.

Oh, and she's hot.
