This past episode was game changing, one of the best individual episodes of any show I'm watched this year. Walt's response at the end by smashing his
fist into the towel holder just said it all.

Really good episode. One of the weaker ones this season, but I mean, that's gonna happen when the season is THIS good. Still, it set up a lot for the end
of the season, which is important.
The opening was pretty ominous...two body bags, all that shit in Walt's back yard. Looks like Gilligan wasn't lying when he said the season finale would have a slam-bang ending. Walt at the party...wow. That was really disturbing. He was a flat out despicable person during that scene. Tons of credit to Cranston there, his acting was superb in that scene, and his facial expressions just conveyed how miserable Walt was. Cooking meth gave Walt's life a purpose, and once he received his diagnosis of remission, he figured he would stop cooking, and thus just go back to living straight. Walt was pissed off and was wondering, like he said, "why me?" He wanted to die. Now he has to live, and that's why he did all the house repairs, to try and give his life some meaning outside of meth. In the final scene though, it was pretty much established that he's gonna keep at it, he can't go back, it's the driving force in his life right now - moreso then his family, his friends, his job. Definitely looks like Sky and Beneke are gonna have an affair sometime in the future too. Not the most entertaining episode, but I'm expecting the final 3 to be highly entertaining and just excellent, because this was a LOT of exposition and it propelled the story forward brilliantly.

The opening seems like the aftermath of an explosion, but I'm betting it's hot water heater related, not meth related.

Around the 3rd or 4th ep, they also did an opening scene with the bear (introduced floating in the pool in ep 1) & explosion aftermath...but tonight's
showed us even more, with the bodies.
Walt's actions at the party and his territorial warnings in the parking lot were great scenes. He appears to be really breaking bad more & more every ep! Jesse seemed even happier for Walt than Walt did for himself. I felt bad for Jesse. So glad Jane slipped him a note under the door. Apology Girl <3 |

I loved the party scene, that was done so well. The way Walt kept pouring more tequila to Jr. and how upset he was at Hank. That whole scene was well done and
well acted. Walt is such a miserable douche. I also loved the exchanged between Jesse and Walt when Walt told him his tumor had reduced by 80%. The genuine joy
that Jesse expressed while Walt seem so indifferent to the whole matter. Jesse is such a sweet guy.
After losing his research to Gretchen and Elliott, Walt no longer wants anyone taking credit for his art in cooking meth nor does he want anyone else to think they can threaten his territory in it. He can't quit it because its no longer just about the money, but about his pride and ego. He was secretly bitter at Gretchen and Elliott for years, but never voiced it or fought for himself. Now, he feels he needs to do that when it comes to cooking meth. No one is going to take this from him this time. He won't quit it. |

Walt is a bad motherfucker now, isn't he?
I love Jesse. He's such a sweetheart and so damaged. |

the body bags were scary! If it is related to the water heater then why the evidence bags? Maybe because of the dead bodies? That was Walt's car out front
right? This episode was kinda dragging but the end was like WOAH! I love Breaking Bad!
3 more eps of the season! |

I think an explosion, no matter what the cause would call for a CSI team to collect evidence

The CSIs might collect evidence, but they wouldn't be wearing HazMat suits unless it was a Meth explosion.

Unless they didn't know the cause of the explosion?

CSIs always know. They roll up and notice the smallest details, immediately put 2 + 2 together and always come up with 4 (especially those smug fuckers in
Miami.)
These dudes are better than Kanga-Man and Rewindo put together. Even if you toss in Joey. |

^LOL! I love it!
I wanted to add that I am not sure if the writers wish for me to hate that bitch Skylar or not - but I do! I try to understand why she acts like a ubber c.unt all the time but even hormones can't explain the ice cold bitch that she is. She is the one that went nuts over the hot water heater and the boards rotting out. Then she wants to be pissy that Walt doesn't go right back to work and instead fixes some shit around the house. |

Great ep. Cranston and the writers are so damn good, it's scary. As soon as they gave Walt the remission news, I thought, oh man, he's gonna freak
the fuck out. And sure enough...
Was there really rot going on in the floorboards? I took that whole thing as he's doing something sneaky with the house - storage/hidden compartments, escape routes, something.
As soon as they brought up the hot water heater, I was thinking 'oh there's the explosion'... but then he replaced it. And I don't think the tankless ones are prone to exploding (?). As someone else pointed out, they'd probably only be in hazmat suits if there was meth suspected, at least. I think Walt's setting up shop under his house somehow. |

Damn. Very intense opening and closing sequences with fantastic slower-paced development in between.
I was expecting the kid to get shot or for Combo to get killed by the guys in the car, didn't think of the kid shooting him really. Nice twist. Jessie, Jessie, Jessie. Not only is he taking himself to rock bottom, but he's dragging Jane with him. A very good episode that I think sets up the final 2 episodes to be completely off-the-charts phenomenal. |

Jessie, Jessie, Jessie. Not only is he taking himself to rock bottom, but he's dragging Jane with him. He just woke something up, she's already at bottom. Witness how she was talking to Walt in the preview. hmmm, how'd that go the last few times someone was threatening to destroy/kill Walt... |

There really isn't a way to keep Jesse on the show anymore, is there? He's become too much of a liability, and if Walt does, I fear this show turning
into Weeds (which I love, but Nancy's continual fuckery and the idiots she surrounds herself with would have gotten her killed a dozen times over). Not
sure where Walt's kingpin act is going, but he can't allow this Jesse/Jane thing to continue one episode longer.
