Madonna\'s new LP is dropping on April 29!!
The title of Madonna\'s forthcoming album will be Hard Candy, EW.com has learned exclusively. The record, her last studio effort for Warner Bros., includes a track called \"Candy Store.\" Madonna chose to stick with the sweet theme because \"she loves candy,\" says her longtime rep Liz Rosenberg. \"It\'s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed \'I\'m gonna kick your ass, but it\'s going to make you feel good.\'\" The album, which features Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks and production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and Nate \"Danja\" Hills, will see a U.S. release on April 29. The first single, \"Four Minutes,\" will be out at the end of March. |

Madonna is way better than Janet, Paula abdul is better than Janet.
The only song I know of Janet is the "nast boy" song, I can probably recognize over 10 madonna songs. |

Madonna totally and I am not a Madonna fan but Janet stinks. I think the only reason she ever became famous was her famous family. I think her music is aweful and she looks as plastic as Pamela Anderson, yuck. |

Madonna vs Gwen is a better match-up, I can name 10 Gwen songs I can't name 10 Janet songs. And of the Janet songs I do know none match up to Like a
Prayer, Like a Virgin, Ray of Light, and Vogue.

I know of 2 other Janet songs (her duet with Micheal and her beach video) but I don't know the titles. I know the beat of another one or two of those and the rest I am completely blanking on. Janet is not in the top tier of female artists she was big for less then a decade I think Gwen, Whitney, Mariah, Britney, and Christina are all ahead of Janet in the modern music sense. Aretha, Barbara, Gladis, Billie, Ella, Stevie, Cher, Joan, Janis, Pat, Debbie, Carley, Tina and Dianna are all ahead of Janet hisotrically. Janet Jackson is in the same realm as Etta James, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Laren Hill, Dolly, Celine, Faith Hill and Patti Smith. Basically top 50 not top 20. |
