Let's face it, the thrill is gone. The show is already playing to form. The weak contestants will get rid of the strong contestants and the most mediocre contestant will win.

Posts: 1259 (09/17/04 6:49 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think the premire was a bit low, but you need to remember that the season hasn't started yet and there was a very serious hurricane in part of the country that watches the show heavily. It still beat the premires of the Apperentice and Joey, and was ( I think) the most watched show of the night. Guys seriously, this is episode 1. I have a STRONG feeling this season will get better. It was just the shitty trick that CBS pulled by cutting it down to one hour. I don't think we will get super-sized episodes. CSI and With Out a Trace are two of CBS's really strong shows, just like Survivor.

For example(In household ratings): 90min Amazon premier went from a 12.4-15.0 90min PI premier went from a 11.4-13.0 It was CBS' fault.

We've had "wonderful" openings from which the season went steadily downhill. But to be back to the levels at which the show debuted as a brand new concept could indicate its beginning to be "over." Are 16-18 million per episode enough to warrant continuing making the show?

Also, so many people in my city requested that survivor vanuatu be repeated they are re airing it twice (the local station) No other show is going to be repeated, not joey, not the apprentice(which is already being repeated) by my local station. I expect the ratings to get higher next episode.

Survivor had the best ratings of any show this week. I think al the show's viewers from thursday night dropped about a good 3/4 million
