miami ink. la ink. london ink... (good luck with the indexing on this one p'ha.)
momma sofa always told me that tats were for the low of character. hookers and sailor types. so i never defiled my body that way. but part of me is fascinated by the beautiful art they produce.
with no scripted tv, we need to start discussing cable. so i'll start here.
the weirdest thing is how all of these tats on all of these shows "represent" or "symbolize" or "remind" or "represent" something.
the classic spouted every ep... "every time i will see this it will remind me of..."
wtf?
you don't have a mind that can remember something without having it permanently marked on you body? you wake up in the morning, look at your tats and go "oh yeah, right... i went there" or "oh yeah, right... that was my boyfriend who died in that terrible slurpie accident..." or "oh yeah, right... the goldfish reminds me that each day is precious..."
is your memory so short that you need a visual clue to get you through the day? you need a tat to remind you of those you have known or places you have been?
can't you just program this shit into your video ipod?
