again, she sang ITYS in march of 2008 a year before they released the single so it was already out there
Granted singing it and 'officially' released are not the same thing but to me it was old news. I think they should have not sang it so soon at the Opry and then wait a year to release it as a single. To me you should make a song be something that no ones really heard unless they own the CD. if you watched the opry or had youtube you already had heard the song for 12 months. more songs, nice. She really has turned up the writing effort. And two more with hillary can't hurt as Hillary is one of the best. |

This is off topic again but can I say that I am IN LOVE with Some Hearts? Geeezus, it's amazing. Sorry I said that CR was better than
SH but it isn't. Some Hearts is amazing, I've listened to it a lot of times and it gets better and better. It's going to be my fav Idol album
ever. I can't stop listening to it. Best 11 bucks I spent with my gift card. CR is great too but SH is just in a league of it's own. Sooo good, I
can't believe I took so long to get it. They should have released 2 or 3 more singles from the album and pull a Rihanna. She would have gone Diamond.

I might watch BBUS Tig, but honestly, I have little motivation to. I'm more of a UK/OZ fan of BB. I probably will download it and watch a few of the US
in a row. Depends. I'm guessing you are gonna watch, right?
I totally agree with you on c.d.'s being half crap/filler songs. SH is soo good. Honestly, after watching that documentary you posted for us to watch, I cannot believe it was made in such a short timeframe. The only song I kinda skip sometimes is Before He Cheats just cause it's been so overplayed on radio etc...that I'm kinda sick of it sometimes. SH is great for a car drive listen or when you are doing house chores or just chilling out. The album deserves a Diamond certification. Great country album. I hope she pulls something like SH for her 3rd year effort. Oh yeah and Kris is gone fri. *gigglesnort* |

Some like it and some were on the fence. The Oklahoma Wind one was much better. It was a sassy type of song, one that would fit Katrina Elam more.

Campbell, Kentucky's Week of the Eagles which an event to welcome home solders of the 101st Airborne Division that are returning from the Middle East. The show is one of only a handful of live performances that Underwood will be doing this summer as she spends her time in the studio, readying her album for release this fall. For Carrie Underwood fans, the last few months
have been filled with waiting. The singer has been visibly absent from the music scene ever since the ACM's back in April. Underwood is not currently
touring, and there are no newly released singles off her current album Carnival
Ride.
However, Carrie Underwood fans are rejoicing this week after news that the singer has been working hard on her third album during her absence. While there is
not a title as of yet, the album is set to be released on November 3rd,
courtesy of 19 Recordings/ Arista Nashville. There is also news that fans can expect the debut single off the album to be released later this summer.
The album features yet another collaboration with producer Mark Bright, who worked on both Carnival
Ride and Some
Hearts; Underwood's previous albums. Underwood is also contributing more on this album in the form of writing.
"I've definitely been writing a lot more, and I'm getting more comfortable in my writing abilities, kinda branching out and writing with
people who aren't necessarily in country music," she said in an interview featured on her
website. "I'm not planning on
changing the kind of music that I sing, but it's nice to bring a different flavor into it."
Underwood's success since winning American Idol has been tremendous. Earlier this year, Underwood became the first country artist in history to achieve
10 number one singles from their first two albums. She has achieved more number one singles and won more awards than any other Idol finalist. Underwood also
was named the ACM Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the year in April at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Fans that cannot wait for the single to be released to radio can see Carrie Underwood perform in August at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Underwood's
performance will be free and is only one of the handful of performances she is scheduled to do this year.

of 08 instead of 07.
