I'm really curious to hear her new album. I bet it will be epic, they know she's a superstar now and needs the best of the best.

Yep, I am just really excited about what we are gonna hear. I want a couple love songs by Carrie - she hasn't really done any.

;) <3 Miki I like that some of the Carrie songs are written 100% from a female perspective. None of her past songs have been like that I think. |

So as long as it's not too calculated it should do great. Too this or too that ..... who knows. I'll love it I am sure hum , my own avatar is distracting me..........better change it, lol again pleaseeeeeeeeeeee release a tour DVD.

::pukes on the delusional mAdam fans::*ducks* Hell that CDs still selling pretty good for a CD that's 4 years oldthey made a mistake in not releasing more songs, the album could have gone a few more million in sales. |

hadn't it already sold over 3 million before Before He Cheats was released?
I still think it was a mistake not to release the Night Before (Life Goes On), That's Where It Is... so many great songs on that album... just like Carnival Ride leaving off Get Out of This Town (I can understand not releasing IKYW and WoTW b/c they may not be radio friendly but live versions perhaps hmm). |

hadn't it already sold over 3 million before Before He Cheats was released?Um yeah, but that song is what sold the 3.5 million. |

Some Hearts is arguably the best country/pop CD of this decade. It was a perfect blend of both genres and with Carrie's stellar vocals it just really sold
itself.
BHC is a huge reason why it sold the way it did because it hooked pop fans in big time. CR didn't have any songs as strong as BHC for the pop audience to gravitate towards. They smelled the rip off of Last Name a mile away and didn't take the bait which is why that album has struggled to reach even half of SH sales. IKYW remains my favorite Carrie song ever in history though so CR was worth buying just for that song alone. On SH there so a lot of great songs they could've released. Lessons Learned and Starts with Goodbye just to name two. They did release my favorite song off that album though with DFTRM. That song makes me misty everytime. |

eraserhead19 wrote:I pretty much agree with everything, but Up from Shania is probably the best of the decade. That album sold a fuckload. I like Before He Cheats though, that's why Carnival Ride didn't do as good because the singles weren't the best. |

I think Some Hearts sold more than Up. up went 11x platinum but it was a double disc so it sold "only" around 5.5 million. i believe that is how it
works. I also don't think Up is Shania's best work - it's Come On Over. She had some rollover popularity from that era IMO.
