The boots line was funny. The female vocalist award was predictable. The album loss was predictable also. Could have told you Taylor would win that one. I'm not even a country fan and even I knew those 3 awards were the most predictable of the night.

I would have been shocked if they didn't acknowledge that with this award. Taylor's reaction to album of the year was adorable. The buying frenzy after album of the year may be enough to get another week at number 1. Carrie's awards should help her reach 3 million with a last hoorah sales spree. The top 50 is going to be dominated by the country stars next week.

Then again he owned that award 4 years running. Taylor winning the album over the guys was kinda� a surprise but her sales are just so above the rest right now.�It's just not for me as she's too pop sounding but she has a HUGE appeal that crosses into pop and into sales out of the ass! Yet in the end no huge surprises processing i had this up but it was SO fucked up I had to delete it and try again

It's just not for me as she's too pop sounding i find the the majority of country music these days is very pop sounding. it's not just taylor. the difference i see is that taylor is young and beautiful and spunky so the pop crowd seems to relate more to her and her music. carrie's first album was very much a pop/country album which is why it sold so much more than her current album. pop/country is probably the most successful genre of music around today.
