I'd prefer only Carrie perform her songs. No one has ever done a good interpretation of "Before He Cheats or "Jesus, Take the Wheel." I
liked Matt's "So Small,' though.

Same, but at least when others sing it, the songs can be heard outside the country genre and it generates sales for Carrie lol.

most ruin her songs but his version of it was not too sucky. I just don't see JTTW done by anyone but her. I mean it's probably why SH sold as many as
it did. I personally think So Small is one of her better songs too

Carrie is doing just fine and she had 4 #1's before they decided to release ITYS. It's randy that's trying to get new fans, NOT Carrie. Again he said carries versin of his song gave him a chance to reach the younger audience and he's doing just that. if anyone is hitched it's him to her. He's on idol because of carrie. they sang a shitload of underwood hits last night too but all lacking her vocals. How many swift songs did they sing ? |

i READ him say her singing his song helped introduce him to the younger 'audience' of county fans. They have used Carrie songs from auditions to last
nights show. Swift, not so much. Carrie won the PC award. She won the CMA again. She is probably winning the ACM as usually the CMA winner also gets the ACM
but who knows. For someone on the way down she sure is winning awards and even PUBLIC voted ones like the Peoples choice which is a recent award.
Swift again has the fucking tweeners / miley crowd. Fuckers that don't have their hearing developed yet. randy does not need to ride anyones coattails but he was on idol because in part of Carrie singing his #1 hit which they sing tonight. It's just good for the show. Rather see him than BARRY FUCKING MANILO again. Please tell me he's not doing the show this year. |
