Carrie Underwood, Grand Ole Opry Member
The highest honor in country music was given out to Carrie Underwood in Nashville recently. While there are country music awards for almost everything
these days, almost all country music singers regard an invitation to become a Member of the Grand Ole Opry as the highest honor of them all. A couple of
months ago, Carrie Underwood was surprised on stage at the 'Grand Ole Opry' by country music legend Randy Travis and after a few minutes of shock at
seeing Travis he asked an astonished Carrie Underwood if she would like to become the newest member of the 'Grand Ole Opry' (Watch Randy Travis surprise Carrie Underwood on stage). Then a few weeks ago,
on May 10th, Carrie Underwood showed up at the Grand Ole Opry to be recognized as it's newest Member and she was inducted by country music legend Garth

Like millions of other country music fans, I have been amazed at the quick rise of Carrie Underwood since she won the 'American Idol' contest just a
few short years ago. It was clear when she was trying out to become the next American Idol that she had something very special inside of her young body. Not
only can Carrie Underwood sing like no one else in country music today, she is also a beautiful girl that serves as an outstanding female role model
to millions of young girls around the world. With each passing day, Carrie Underwood earns herself new fans around the world and in recent days I
have been seeing Ms. Underwood on several new television commercials. My guess is that those television commercials will keep being offered
to Carrie Underwood because not only will her beauty help sells those various products, but her clean - good girl - image is most certainly
a plus for those sponsors as well.
Country music singers and fans are a closely bound group of people that usually share the same desires in life. Most of the time, country music fans love to
hear songs about people that have suffered from some kind of heartbreak and/or personal crisis in life and country music tells those stories like no other
kind of music in the world. In every way imaginable, Carrie Underwood fits the world of country music perfectly and there is little doubt that her image as a
top female country music artist is firmly cemented into her future. Now that Carrie Underwood has joined the giants of country music as an official
Member of the Grand Ole Opry, Ms. Underwood can really tell herself that she has made it in the world of country music and without a doubt her popularity
will continue to grow over the years. I want to extend my congratulations to Carrie Underwood on her recent induction as the newest Member of the
Grand Ole Opry and I also want to wish her well in the future as she continues to brighten the days of her fans with her amazing singing voice.
