Wow, Shannon, they are dictators on that board. Actually Penney and Sandy are the worst two over there at bashing Clay. I really think they enjoy the fanwars. Whenever things calm down, they start a new thread to bash Clay and it just heats up all over again.

Well, at least we're getting somewhere on this board. Thanks, everyone. Fanwars are just stupid - I think we can all agree on that. Every dang one of these contestants work their asses off to get where they are; some are just more mainstream than others. I never would have dreamed that Clay would wind up being so maligned. He's an original, for sure, but he's not the creepy mess some of the media would like to paint him. Screw them - I still love him and imagine I always will. I like lots of the others quite a bit, too, just not as much since he is my favorite celebrity ever. I hate that I can't go in the Kelly or Carrie threads w/o seeing idiotic arguing and bashing. So I just avoid them.

I think most of the really sick haters have moved on to the hate boards and blogs. I hope Sucks will remain snarky and fun but not get as ugly as places like VFTW and their ilk. I've actually grown quite fond of some of the former Clay bashers on this board as we've come to have a mutual regard for some of the newer contestants. Of course, it helped considerably that they quit being so vicious about Clay.

I think Sandy must be a lonely old woman with nothing in her life besides her Kelly Clarkson worship. For a senior, you'd think that she would have a lot of other interests, since she has had plenty of time to develop hobbies over the years. Or you would think she would focus on her kids and grandkids rather than living her life for a pop singer.

Sandy doesn't post outside the KCE (that I know of) and what she says or doesn't say on that board shouldn't be anyone's problem, except the other members of KCE. I think most fans of others would do themselves well to stop lurking on KCE to see what they are saying to begin with but that of course is JMO.

and no offense intended but there are plenty of Claymates who are the same age OR older than Sandy and their lives are wrapped up in Clay so that's pot.kettle.black IMO.

anyway, I'd like for this place to at least not resemble a war zone all the time. We're going to disagree and we'll have differing opinion of course... but it's not outside the realm of possibility to do that without the nastiness and hate.

I just love this performance from last Summer's tour. God I miss him. I want him to tour again soon.

There's a little back story to this. It was the final night of the tour and usually the back up singers take turns duetting with him. He never knows which one it will be but tries to guess as the song starts. This time they pranked him by both joining in. These guys are all so talented that nothing throws them off.

I just love this performance from last Summer's tour..

I just saw that for the first time!!!!! I love performers who bring some laughter into their performance. The last Clay performance I got to see was Spamalot and that was a lot of fun.

This picture of Clay brought t.ears to my eyes. He never looks as happy and as peaceful as when he's holding a child. I truly believe the upcoming birth of his child will bring him the happiness and serenity he's been searching for.
