Nope, that would be ex Yelly but now Taylor Swift fans! As proven by the last CMT Music Awards, Carrie fans have better things to do like, go to school, raising family, watching over their grandkids. You know, an all around age group unlike Yelly's fan base who consist mainly of people who read magazines like "OUT"!

Why does Kelly have so many gay fans? Well historically speaking gays, particularly male gays, like females that can actually sing. If Kelly is put into the same category as these other "gay icons" (which is what you are insinuating she is by saying that the majority of her fanbase is gay) then I think Kelly will have a very long and successful career: Cher Bette Midler Julie Andrews Janet Jackson Barbara Streisand Judy Garland Liza Minelli Donna Summer Kylie Minogue Dolly Parton Madonna Gwen Stefani are all those people gay too KCS? 
There are far worse things than having a huge gay following... all those people have had 10,20,30 year careers... |

Don't forget KLo. She has a great singing voice and a good career with the pride events and all the gay bars she plays. Yelly will enjoy playing the

Kelly isn't even in the same league as Carrie... Kelly tackles country music in her spare time!! One of country's biggest legends & country's biggest groups asked KELLY to sing a duet with them... Carrie is a country singer,& now apparently a model, I guess she needs a second job. She is "popular" in the United States & a little in Canada. They are holding onto the hope that Carrie can be successful after SH & honestly, her team is slowly giving up.. I mean Carrie was nominated for a TCA for "Red Carpet Fashion" C'mon-- last year it was music, song artist, etc!!! Kelly is an international superstar.. Wasn't it UK that Kelly was #2 on the list of hottest stars only behind Britney Spears??!! Even AFTER the release of MD.. Didn't Kelly host the music awards in australia??? She's touring Europe right now?? Has Carrie even been to Europe? Didn't Kelly beat out Paul McCartney for greatest pop album at the Grammys??? |

Carrie has 3 Grammys off of one album and was the first idol nominated in the Best New Artist category. How many Grammys does Kelly have again and how many nominations off of 3 albums?

Anyhoo, just wanted to throw in one observation: Yelly's biggest problem right now is that Barry Weiss apparently agrees with ol' Clive 100% --- because its clear he's not letting Yelly write her own songs for this next album. They want her to return to the manufactured pop tart she used to be (and the only time she was actually successful), or its no dice. She's also obviously totally capitulated. This next album for her is a no-win situation. If she gets hits off it, everyone ELSE gets the credit (the writers of the songs, the A&R department at RCA, and Barry Weiss! Certainly not Yelly. If she doesn't get hits off it, she'll be dropped. Too bad her fans have been such mean-spirited losers all these years, or I might even feel sorry for her. As it is, I'm just glad karma is such a bitch. lol. |
