The BIG Wimbledon final starts a bit over 9 hours from now. Perhaps the thread will remain labeled as "Wimbledon Finals" come August, too!! Woo-hoo!! GREAT suggestion. Regardless, the men's match should be stellar.


What are your "Brain / Heart / Gut" predictions for it, folks?

B: Nadal. He nearly won it last year, under trying circumstances; this year, he's significantly better, and Roger's not as good as he had been.

H: Either. I never really dug Sampras, so it'd be good to have RF get one step closer to surpassing him. Also, Roger's a player I like. On the other hand, it'd be nice to have somebody else win W for a change. I also like Nadal, for both his demeanor and playing intensity. Additionally, it'd be interesting to see how gracious Fed will (or perhaps would not) be post-match if he does indeed lose.

G: Rafael - guessing 60% in four sets, 40% in five.
