Whitney is far from the best winner the show has ever had, but she isn't exactly in the bottom two or three either.
I honestly believe that Tyra may have given up on her idea that the show might produce actual, high fashion models. Out of well over 100 girls now, how many have gone on to careers that are in the upper echelons of fashion? I bet you could count the number on your thumbs. So why give it to Anya...she isn't likely to be the first supermodel to come from ANTM. May as well get your plussie win out of the way by handing it to Whitney. |

It's funny that it took ten cycles for a plus-sized model to win. Or even be in the top, say, 5.

Sorry, I agree that Anya took the best pictures of anyone this cycle, but her runway really sucked. She was stiff as a board. She looked like she was almost
afraid to move. At least Whitney looked like she enjoyed being there. The judges made sure that those dresses were hard to walk in (especially the 2nd ones).
Whitney handled hers much better than Anya did.
Anya has the most potential for a good modeling career. But the girl needs to learn to walk the runway. |
