Hell, right now, I'm thinking even that boring girl that got cut the first week would've been better than Whitney. I didn't notice as much this cycle, because I didn't have a favourite for well into it, but I do think that they tend to deliberately thin the herd at the beginning so as to be able to have greater control over the end game.

That week two elimination is still one of the more puzzling ones to me. Bottom 2 consisted of a girl who took a really shitty picture, but who was a wildly combustible bitch with an eating-disorder back story vs. another "girl" who took a really shitty picture, but beyond that, who looked like a middle-aged soccer mom. I think Allison really DID go home because of the "Thank you". Tyra just couldn't let that go, despite how obvious it was that Dom should have been the one to go.. If Allison had simply said "Thank you", I think she would have stayed...
